• Alais played very hard to get and was only won over when he managed to best her during a fight, something that many were unable to accomplish, so he'd likely be a great warrior or just a clever man.
• They have never married because she doesn't want to change her last name, considering she's hoping to take her father's place whenever he passes. She would have to be convinced to change her mind or for him to take the Vellcar name.
• He would likely need a lot of patience to deal with her constant need to prove she's strong, capable, and worthy of the Vellcar name.

Using her own gramarye and with the help of Nilsana, Risa was able to paralyze her father in his own fear. People believe he has gone completely mad, and she makes sure to keep with the scares every so often in order to keep the man complacent. She believes he deserves to die or suffer more, but for right now, this was enough to ensure her siblings are still taken care of.

- Sevrin's Brotherhood fleet will be a part of the Aralorian war plot in the near future.
