GRAMARYE :: Risa has the ability to find out someone's greatest fear and use it against them. Once she knows of their fear, she can project it back at them. It's all in their head, but it will seem very real. This requires a lot of concentration in order to accomplish, and doing it too frequently will drain her. Risa can also only do this to one person at a time. It can't physically hurt someone, but the person might accidentally hurt themselves in reaction. If she has help and the time, she can make the fear real and physical, but it requires prep work, concentration and time.Dig up her . b o n e s . but leave the soul alone

- Born the eldest child of Arlen and Morna Devany, she and her siblings inherited gramarye abilities from their Mystic mother. While Blaine decided to try and ignore his magic and join the military when he came of age, Risa fully accepted it, even as the war on their kind waged on. She was unable to turn a blind eye to the slaughtering of her people because of King Allarick's ridiculous fear...which was ironic, considering her magical ability was to sense and wield a person's fear against them.
- When she was about sixteen years of age, Arlen eventually became afraid of his own family. In a drunken stupor at the tavern one night, he let it out that his wife was a Mystic. Soldiers broke down their door in the middle of the night and took her mother away where she was executed in the square before the sun even came up the next day. Til this day, Risa can still picture the ash floating on the wind and the smoke burning in her throat.
- That had been her father's first mistake. The second mistake was to not tell the crown about his own children, because Risa found the strength to retaliate. She instinctively wanted to murder the man but knew that without him, they would struggle to survive. With Blaine still away in the military, she and Neilina would most likely not be able to inherit the property, so their father had to remain alive. But that didn't mean he had to live a fulfilling life. Using her own gramarye and with the help of Neilina, Risa was able to paralyze her father in his own fear. People believe he has gone completely mad, and she makes sure to keep with the scares every so often in order to keep the man complacent. She believes he deserves to die or suffer more, but for right now, this was enough to ensure her siblings are still taken care of.
- She has joined the Unseelie and is completely devoted to Oberon and his cause. She wants the king to suffer for his crimes and what his ridiculous warmongering has done to her family.
- Was one of the many Mystics that Dante Vance let go free. He probably should have killed her that day.
- Risa has an affinity for snakes and keeps a few as pets.
