Rhea normally wasn't a huge mischief maker but sometimes one had to have a little bit of fun and that involved tormenting some people. In her hand's were two little peeping baby chicks but she only wanted to keep one so she was going to find someone else to gift this little poultry pet to without telling them what it was! A skip was in her step as she looked around and then spotted the Drach in question that she wanted to surprise and she would come up to him with the small birds faces hidden against her breast. "Hello, Turin, I have a small request if I can bug you," the redhead warrior would ask. That alone should be warning but she gave a sweet innocent look so really, what could she be up to?

Right, let's pick on the "turkey king".
Although he avoided the damn birds because they were nothing but tortures, Turin hadn't really thought about that particular incident when he was younger for quite awhile. He'd startle any time he came close to one of those ugly birds, but for the most part, it was smooth sailing.
He was returning from a quick hunt, dropping off a couple of hares at the house when Rhiannon approached. The Drach immediately paused, looking over to the redhead questioningly, idly wondering what she was cradling there against her chest but he didn't ask. "And what might this request be?"

Rhia gave a little smile as she approached him, her fingers hiding the sleeping bird against her breast to keep it feeling safe and secure.
"Well...I was out hunting and I realized a fox had killed a mother bird and it left behind just two chicks. Now...I can take care of one but the other needs a home; would you be alright taking care of the other please?" she'd ask him, her look sweet and innocent. It could be any bird, he had no reason to doubt her that she'd bring him one of his devil birds.
It was hard to not start giggling but she had to hope that he had no idea what they looked like as babies. Fingers were crossed; heck this might even cure him on his fear of this poultry creature.

Was he suspicious? Yes. Did he look like he wasn't trusting her? Certainly.
Those eyes narrowed on her, watching her carefully as she approached. She spoke of two chicks having lost their mother, and out of all of the people of the clan, she comes to him about it? Oh yeah, he was definitely not trusting her right now.
And then she giggled, and he found himself involuntarily taking a step back.
"I think I have more important things to do than watch over some bird." Maybe this should have been a red flag, but Turin was stupidly giving this woman the benefit of the doubt. "My sisters could maybe watch over it."
Yeah, he really wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed sometimes.

“You don’t often look busy Turin,” she countered smoothly as she would hold a hand out for his.
“Please? I can’t watch two while trying to make a safe pen for them so I need someone responsible to watch one at least…please?” she would ask him again. Rhia gave him her best sweet pleading look, her lower lip pouting out a little bit to him.
Yes, she knew she was highly suspicious at the moment but she hadn’t done much to earn that yet.

Turin looked at her sternly with her comment. Wow, he had never heard that before. He had to refrain from rolling his eyes as he let out a small sigh.
He really didn't know why she was pushing this, but he was also too tired and distracted with other things to fully care or question it any further.
"Alright, alright, sure," he relented. He still planned on pawning the bird off to his sisters and hopefully they wouldn't lose it.
