With the recent attack from Saelis, on the queen, they had already started to fortify the shores, though that had only given them a few weeks head start. If Saelis was on their way now, it hardly would give them enough time. There was no time to waste and they needed to do things as quickly as possible.
Orin shrugged his shoulders at Eoin's question. "Cassandra had mentioned something about Aldsage? The island that she was taken to by the bandits... We have not reached out to them, have we?" He glanced over to Nemeris again as he questioned her.
There really wasn't much else aside from where they had already acquired allies. Not that he knew of. That was Nemeris' job.
He glanced back to Eoin as he stood up from his seat. "I have been putting doing this, for a while now... So if you don't mind?" They had captured the man before the wedding, which was going on for about a week now. And with the wedding and everything that had happened after it, enough time had been wasted.

At Orin's question, Nemeris shook her head. No, they hadn't reached out to Aldsage yet. Mostly because they hadn't found out about that island until Cassandra's kidnapping. And by then, the war was over and done with. She sighed and nodded. "I will do what I can." She assured both of them. So much for getting away from things and learning something new. They'd have to push it aside until god knows when at this point.
She watched as Orin stood up and basically urged Eoin that they needed to leave now. She took a nervous breath but said nothing. They had a job to do..and she did too.

His back seemed to straighten when Orin mentioned the isle of Aldsage. Immediately gritting his teeth, he had to bite his tongue in order to not say anything. What he wanted to say was that they were traitors, that they only helped themselves, but he didn't. Although his entire clan had been wiped from the face of the earth, he still said nothing. If there was a slim chance that the clans would help Aralore, he had to refrain from letting his past interfere. That, unfortunately, was Nemeris' problem to deal with right now.
As Orin rose from his seat, he pushed off from the counter, nodding to him in response. There was no point in delaying, especially when they didn't know how much time they had before Saelis arrived. "Right, of course," he murmured before looking to Nem with that apologetic look. They'd have to try hunting at a later date- this obviously took precedence over everything else, unfortunately. Stepping from the manor, he'd quickly saddle upon Nomad and follow Orin back to the castle.
