PERSONALITY :: Outwardly, Seraphine seems sweet, innocent, shy and meek. She almost always can be seen with a sweet and gentle smile on her face. She is soft spoken, kind and can be quite genuine, polite and caring when she wants to be. However, there is a dark and deviant side to Seraphine that she tries to hide behind that sweet and innocent mask she wears. There’s a mysterious side to her and she tends to get into trouble or act up at random, or when she grows bored.

LIKES :: Summer, sunshine, being barefoot in the ocean, the sound of birds chirping, flowers (especially daisies), the colors green and yellow, a good adventure and taking risks.

DISLIKES :: Seeing someone upset with her (especially her uncle), fire, bugs (especially spiders), being caught doing something she shouldn’t be.

ABOUT SERAPHINE ::

• Seraphine was born and raised in the Venitzia district of Noistar. She had a fairly normal and uneventful life aside from a strict father and an overbearing mother who wanted Seraphine to develop into a proper lady.

• Even as a child, she liked to get into trouble and be deviant, if to test her limits with her parents. She wanted to be her own individual and not have to follow in anyone’s footsteps or stand in anyone’s shadow. Her parents were often scolding her to which she eventually grew numb to and eventually ignored and dared to get into more trouble.

• When she turned eighteen, in attempts to try and calm Seraphine down and force her to settle, they arranged her in a marriage to an older gentleman from a wealthier family. At first, Seraphine protested as much as she could, but with a lot of push back, she came to the realization that she didn’t have much of a choice.

• Seraphine relented and for a while, detested the man she was to marry. She hardly knew the man or if they had anything in common or would even get along. Would he try and control her much like her parents had? Or would he accept her wild and free-spirited nature?

• Shortly after, the two married and she resented her husband for a while. It wasn’t until she caught him involved in a scandal that she suddenly started to show an interest in him, offering to help him. Her husband agreed, thinking it would be a perfect advantage for his sweet, innocent wife to act as a cover for him and the people he worked with.

• For a while it worked flawlessly. Until it didn’t. Someone had caught on, followed and spied on Seraphine and her husband and eventually began to uncover their scheming. Several times, Seraphine had nearly been caught--one time resulting in a stab wound when an assailant threw a knife at her to try and stop her.

• Eventually, her husband was captured and thrown into prison. She had witnessed the whole thing and had managed to flee and go into hiding. Not wanting to put her parents into danger, or for them to even find out what she had been involved in, she fled to Merine, where her uncle Vaughn was from.

• She was reluctant at first, but he was the only other she knew outside of Venitzia. He was smart and resourceful and knew he might have some ideas to help her out. It was late in the evening when she knocked on his door and after making up a lie on why she was visiting at first, she eventually came out and told him everything. Her uncle was shocked and upset with her, of course, but eventually, he took her in and agreed to help her. She has been staying with him since.

Which Character Tier will you be placing them in?: Tier 2

Why will they belong in this Tier?:  There aren't too many restrictions or things that would hold Seraphine back from getting involved, aside from her avoiding Venitzia.  She will go if she absolutely needs to, but she has people looking for her, so she is cautious and tries to stay out.
