ABOUT GAVRIEL ::

Gavriel is the eldest of two children from Gepetto and Greta Bellanti. However, if you include Alessio, then he is the middle child. The family was relatively poor, but he never grew up hungry or in desperate need of anything. His father always made sure he and Imelda were well looked after, and always managed to make ends meet at the tailor shop.

When his cousin was only ten, his parents were lost out at sea. Gepetto and Greta immediately took the boy in, making Alessio the brother Gavriel never had...nor ever really wanted. Regardless of the man's obnoxious, chaotic nature, he would do anything for him. Being there for his sister and his niece was a give-in. After losing their mother, the need to protect what was left of his family was part of what drove him into the Protettori.

When he finished his mandatory military service, he considered leaving it in order to start a life with the girl he'd loved for years. However, when he finally asked Violetta to marry him, she broke down into tears and denied him. Gav couldn't understand why or what he could have done, and eventually she told him that she did not wish to see him tied to a woman who would only leave him alone. She was dying from an illness of the lungs, and forced him to move on with his life. Vi passed away almost a year later, and Gavriel never did move on from it.

At the age of twenty-seven, he was promoted to the Venitzian Guard. He travels back and forth from Mercato and Venitzia constantly; helping out with the shop whenever he has the time.

Is best friends with Theron Vestalis, and is still pretty close with his Protettori trainer, Vincent Arnaud .
