ABOUT VINCENT ::

• Second born son to Luis Arnaud and Charlotte Laurent. His mother was a housewife while his father overworked himself in the military and council of Tresteria. When he was home, he was harsh, demanding, cross and strict. He wanted to ensure that both of his sons followed in his footsteps.

• He joined the military when he was of age and worked hard to climb the ranks, in hopes to make his father proud and get him off his back. However, no matter how hard he worked and tried, it never seemed good enough for Luis.

• Vincent got along with his older brother, Wyatt, for the most part. But he was the favored child despite him never really having to try hard to gain the attention. He went the route of being part of the council while Vincent was in the military.

• He met his wife, Clarice when she and her family moved from Noistar and moved next to the family’s home. After meeting, they instantly felt a connection and fell in love. It wasn’t long before they married and started a family of their own.

• Lyanna was born. She was the most beautiful daughter and Vincent and his wife were overjoyed. He hoped he would be the very best father and swore that he would be more present and accepting than his own father was.

• Unfortunately, as Lyanna grew up, they came to find out that she was constantly in pain and had hip-dysplasia. They did all they could to try and help her and make her comfortable. They took her to see various physicians but none were ever able to help her.

• When Lyanna was only eight years old, her mother passed from a severe and unexplained illness. Vincent was distraught and overcome with sadness but he tried his best to remain strong for his daughter. He continued to raise her as best as he could, promising his wife that he would do everything in his power to protect her and ensure she grows up to have a good life.

• As his daughter came into her teenage years, his brother began to urge him to arrange her marriage after he had successfully arranged a marriage with his daughter, Eleesa, and the king of Tresteria. Wyatt tried with harsh persistence that Vincent marry Lyanna off to a council member’s son--a wealthy and well known Marquis who was almost twice her age. When Vincent refused, Wyatt grew angry with him and stated he would have the king order it himself.

• It was then that Vincent decided to leave their life in Tresteria behind. He did not want to subject Lyanna to the harsh society of Tresteria and force her to marry someone she did not know and ruin her happiness. He took her to where his wife originally was from--Noistar.

• The two settled into their new home, Vincent quickly finding his place in the Protettori, safeguarding the archipelago.

• Even though he is of age to retire, he refuses, as he doesn’t want to slow down and give in to his age and feel useless. He remains in the Protettori and works to train new recruits.

• Vincent helped his daughter open a flower shop, knowing that she was passionate about it. He admires her strength and ability and is proud of her every day.

Why will they belong in this Tier?: Being part of the guard, Vincent can go just about anywhere he is needed or assigned. He gets involved wherever he can, but his daughter always comes first. He is semi-retired so he isn’t completely active as he used to be, and he mainly works in the military training school.
