FACTS ::

• The eldest daughter of Ciro and Giulia Altieri, she has a younger sister named Zoe. They were a commoner family that managed to find a decent amount of wealth, bringing them up to the middle class. Eventually, her father began to take out loans after loans, putting them in debt. Acquiring a substantial marriage for his two daughters was proving difficult, until he made a deal with Francisco Venturi.
• Lord Venturi agreed to pay off all debts if Nina married his son, Enzo. It was almost as if luck had fallen into their lap, but this would be Enzo's fifth marriage, and there were many dark rumors surrounding the man. Of course, she was hesitant, but she agreed for the sake of her family who would certainly fall into deeper debt and ruin. And she would not see them living off of the streets. What she and her sister don't know, is that most of Ciro's debt is from gambling and making deals with very dangerous people.
• Her marriage to Enzo started off rocky, but there was respect there. Maybe it also could have blossomed into a true love. Nina wound up suffering from two miscarriages, knowing that if she didn't provide a Venturi heir, Francisco (or even Enzo) might deem her unworthy and issue a divorce. She lives with this burden and fear every day. She knows they must try for another child, but she is almost afraid to despite it being something she so desperately wants.
• Enzo begged for forgiveness when he grew distant after they lost a second child, and although she accepted it...in her heart, she wasn't sure she can just yet.
• Upon Francisco's death, Enzo became head of the family, making the need for an heir that much more necessary. She fears her time is running out.
