[Open to any Lee Frye at Lasairdubh - takes place a few days after the dinner thread]
That spring night was dark, wet, and maaaaaybe just a little bit bloody as Seamus the second youngest Lee Frye made his way home. He had plans meeting his twin at Lasairdubh, but of course he had to do something first. So Seoras had gone on ahead while Seamus did his duty in protecting the streets of Ethion.
He hadn't expected to save a pretty face, nor did he expect to get a graze on his side from her attackers blade. Still, the wood be thug had been dealt with, Seamus got to be his amusing self, and he'd slunk off into the night. Bidding her au revoir. Aaaand now he had the long ride home to deal with. The rain hadn't set in until after he'd left the city, and by the time he reached Lasairdubh he was all but shivering, his side stinging, and reaaaally hoping no one was awake at this hour.
He didn't realize how much he'd missed since he was in Ethion. Attending to Tavern business with Seoras took up a great deal of his time during the day, and during the night, his time was taken up by ensuring the streets were safe from rogue mystics, wardens and thugs alike. After ignoring his mothers summons, he thought it best to not let her wait much longer and thus the twins were finally returning home. And in complete Seamus fashion, he brought the chaos with him.
After tending to his horse in the family stable he snuck into the castle through a servants entrance. Minding where he was going despite dripping puddles on the floor as he made it up to his room. He'd taken the cloth mask that hid half his face off on the ride over, and he took of his cowl, as there was that usual hop in his step as he made his way down the hallway. If he wasn't trying to be so sneaky he might have whistled as he walked. He had began to take off his layers, running a hand through his wet hair, as he wadded up his cloak and hood and then opened his door. Stumbling around a bit until he managed to light candle. After removing his leather chest piece he tended to wear, he turned to see the blossoming red stain on his cream colored shirt in the mirror. "Well that's not good." He sighed, reaching up for the collar of his shirt he carefully pulled it off, and walked towards the mirror. Turning a bit so he could get a closer look at the knife wound. It'd been hours ago since he'd received it and the skin around it was already red and inflamed and certainly didn't feel pleasant. He tenderly poked at it, hissing through his teeth, and not noticing the figure that had appeared in the doorway.
