FACTS ::

• Although born in Tresteria, both of his parents and grandmother were Teronnian. The family was constantly travelling back and forth between both kingdoms, and Robert always did prefer Tresteria.
• He was 23 when he first laid eyes on Catriona, and for him, it was basically love at first sight. He was enamored with the girl, immediately asking her father for her hand the first chance he got. Naturally, the spirited Cat refused, and Robert would spend the next two years trying to convince her with lovely words and many gifts as his school and military training continued. He was back and forth between Teronna and Tresteria, and yet he still pursued her. He was so smitten that he never relented.
  
• Catriona finally accepted his proposal, and throughout the years, she gave him the many sons he wanted, along with one very strong and spirited daughter.
• After five years of  being an army general, Cat finally convinced him to leave the military at the age of 53. To him, it was far too soon, but he was willing to do it to keep his wife pleased. Still, his extensive time in the army and his knowledge opened up a new door for him: he became a prominent military advisor to the king and council. He was barely picking up a sword, but at least he could keep eye on things when it came to Allarick's war on magic.
• Although older now and his knees are practically shot, Robert could still probably hold his own very well in a fight.
• His brother manages the family property in Tresteria, and he finds that he misses that land more often than not.
• He was a strict but fair father to his children, and taught every single one of them to fight, including Aoife. Yet, he's not one to really express emotion or affection (only to Cat), and is often rather calm. It takes a lot to test Robert's patience or even make him angry, but if someone ever manages to, they better pray they can outrun his wrath.
• Robert can be very stubborn. The only one who is able to change his mind is Catriona.
• He tends to nurture the competitive streak in his children. He's proud of those who went into the military, especially of those who remained.
• Loves a good brandy and enjoys his peace and quiet.
