Emilia can look into any flame and see whatever it is she wishes so long as there are flames or a hearth nearby intended view. She sees it from the view of the flames/hearth and can’t hear what is happening, only seeing it visually and making her own assumptions.

She can only do it for so long before her eyes will go tired. She’ll often look like she’s entranced by the flames when really she’s scrying.

PERSONALITY:
Cunning, deceptive, and an energy that she is not to be trifled with. Emilia is a very opinionated woman, and isn’t afraid to let you hear about it. She’s extremely protective of her family and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, even if it means getting her hands dirty. She’s highly intelligent and likes to read people and figure out how they tick.

She’s a very nosy woman who likes to know everyone’s business and how to keep people out of her own. She can be very motherly when the time calls for it, but usually she gives her children a bit of tough love even if she’s devoted her whole life to them. Family means everything to her, even their reputation. She wants only the best for her children and is determined to find them suitable matches, where they’ll all be happy and won’t end up grouchy like her.

It's only with family that Emilia shows her more caring nature and gentleness. With everyone else it's like she's been possessed by an Admirable and runs a tight ship. 

HISTORY:
- Emilia grew up as an Earls daughter.
- Unlike her sister Cat, Emilia was more of a rule follower. Taking her responsibilities seriously, she was everything a noble girl should be.  - She was once full of naïve hope that she’d one day have a marriage full of love with several children.
- After her sister got betrothed to Robert Lee Frye, and they married, her parents decided to betroth Emilia to an earl that had recently come into his title.
- At first, Emilia was over the moon for Lord McIntyre, but as they got married and she began to learn more about him, she found she was not going get the love filled marriage she always dreamed of. To the public, Emilia was the effer faithful, doting wife. Even in their home the act continued because she knew it was expected of her, but in recent years the act has faded, and it's quite clear how miserable Emilia has become. 
- What she did receive from the marriage, was her children who she threw all her efforts into raising. Making sure her children were the best behaved and mannered in all of Teronna. Despite the horror stories they like to tell of her, she thinks they all turned out quite right. 
- After their last daughter was born, Emilia found herself growing lonely, and becoming resentful towards Lord McIntyre. Their marriage was purely one of convenience and Emilia did her best in keeping herself from getting bored. Even if it led to her being unfaithful…
- Once she learned she wasn't the only one being unfaithful, her resentfulness towards Lord McIntyre reached an all time high, and now Em does what she wants, with who she wants. 
- Over the years Emilia has seen her children grow into fine adults and wishes desperately Lucas and Remy would marry already so she can have her own grandchildren to brag about.
