PERSONALITY :: Desmond is very charismatic, especially with his family and friends. He is an honest man who often puts others before himself, and would do anything for his family. He has a sense of humor and thinks he is funnier than he really is, but that’s also what makes him funny. He is the epitome of ‘dad jokes.’

ABOUT DESMOND ::

• Desmond DeGraff was born the second son to Lachlan and Brigid DeGraff. The DeGraffs are a well-known noble family within Teronna and have a very extensive line of heritage.
  
  
• Desmond grew up in a normal, peaceful and quiet childhood with nothing out of the ordinary. He got along with his siblings for the most part- being closest with his older brother, Jareth, whom he looked up to as his best friend and role model.
  
  
• He joined the military at a young age, following in Jareth’s footsteps, and worked hard to make his way up the ranks so to continue to prove his family worthy.
  
  
• He worked alongside Jareth to form the secret organization of the Wardens, whose sole purpose was to begin to hunt down mystics. It was during one of those missions that he would meet the love of his life- Arieen, who was a widowed woman and single mother to a young boy-Rowan. He saved both of them in a mystic attack.
  
  
• Desmond and Arieen married not too long after. He adopted Rowan as his own son and treated him as such all along. The two had their own children together. The twins: Cian & Cara, Arya and Dunstan, and he raised his children alongside his wife, being there as much as he possibly could.
  
  
• Five years ago, when mystics attacked their city, many had fallen- including his daughter, Cara, and Rowan’s wife, Muriel. The family was devastated and Desmond found himself falling in a deep depression, blaming himself for not being able to save them. Most of all, he hated seeing the rest of his family so upset. His hatred for the Mystics only grew stronger after that. 
  
  
• Although his brother, Jareth and the rest of his family helped pick him back up out of his deep depression, he still blames himself and mourns the loss of his daughter.
