I can feel it in my b o n e s
- The fourth-born son to Robert and Catrìona Lee Frye. Being there in the middle, Ciaran always struggled to find something he could excel at where his other brothers couldn't...and the only thing he could find he was better at was being the wild child. When he didn't absolutely have to follow the rules, he simply didn't, and challenged his parents wherever he could. He struggled with not overstepping, but there were a few times he had gone too far. Needless to say, he knew every nook, cranny, and crevice of his bedroom walls for he was often locked inside them growing up.
- He was probably closest with Eoghann as a child, but became overly protective of Aoife, his only sister, when she had been born. It's something most of the Brothers Lee Frye have in common.
- Unsure of what to do or where to go in life, Ciaran simply joined the military with half the enthusiasm as one should. Having problems with authority, it took him far too long to get through initial training although he was quite capable with a sword, and took even longer to gain rank. He was tired and he was bored, and couldn't find anything to fill that dull void.
- He's better at causing problems than fixing them, which was often the problem. His childish ignorance has subsided a little bit, but not entirely, and Ciaran will still often make poor choices even when he's honestly trying not to.
- Both Eoghann and Aoife lost the ones they loved, and it makes him less inclined to ever want to settle down. However, that hasn't stopped him from messing around from time to time with women.
- Flirted with Terra the moment she joined the household as a maid. It was all innocent for awhile, and for a short time he might have considered her a true friend (one of few) until the situation suddenly changed. Until they stepped over a line he knew very well they shouldn't have, and she became pregnant.
- Naturally, Ciaran panicked. He didn't want to tell his parents nor could he simply pretend like it never happened. He cared about Terra, but not in the way she had been secretly hoping for. For the first time in his life, Ciaran honestly tried to do the right thing and brought her to a small village nearby where she could have a place to live. With the money he had saved up on his own he bought her a small cabin, and Terra was furious with him. He didn't understand why, but no one could know about it...especially since she did not know he was from a family of Mystics, and he could not be sure if that child she carried would possess magic as well. With the war on magic happening all around them, he was making an attempt to keep her safe and out of it all. Still, Terra resented him, especially when he kept away and was not present for the birth. She would receive money as often as he could risk sending some, but eventually he couldn't stop himself from being curious.
- It was a couple of months after Myra was born that Ciaran stopped by the cabin for the first time to see his daughter. The guilt intensified, this strange need to be there for her heightened...but he still could not be who Terra wished him to. They'd made a mistake, and this was how it was going to have to be. He would stop by as often as he could chance it, which wasn't very frequently and usually at random.
- After meeting Myra, knowing that she truly existed and that she was his seemed to change something in Ciaran. With this war on Mystics, his concern for his own family was growing tenfold. Now, it was just a matter of whether he was going to step up more to ensure their protection or if he was going to sink further into his ignorant ways.
