ABOUT AINSLEY ::

• Ainsley is the granddaughter of Willow Sigferth, the current clan leader. There is potential that she may one day become the clan’s leader herself, but she isn’t entirely sure if she wants that. She is happier without responsibility and would rather be off on her own in the wilderness. Her younger sister, and best friend, Holly, keeps her grounded and is one of the only reasons she sticks around.
• She also loves her grandmother and would do anything for her- The relationship she and Holly have with her is precious to her and is quite possibly her biggest weakness.
• Ainsley drives their mother and father crazy because they think she acts as a man when she should be more feminine and should be trying to settle down and start her own family and prepare to one day become a clan leader. She ignores and rebels against this any chance she can get.
• When the Moreling clan fell, Ainsley had snuck off with her older brother, Lennox, to aid the victims. She had gotten separated from her brother and was never able to find him. She blames herself for his presumed death and cannot forgive herself for losing track of him. Maybe if she had stayed with him, she could have saved him. Or if she had seen him die, they could have that closure, knowing that he really was dead. The not-knowing kills her.
  
• Ainsley moved in with her sister when she kicked her husband out of their home. She gladly accepted when asked, mostly so she could keep her safe and not lose another one of her siblings. Holly is also her best friend, so she doesn’t mind spending time with her and cherishes every moment they have together.
