He keeps it fairly on the long side, down around his ears, but it's always perfectly styled and swept back in some fashion.
Preston dresses like any man of his station should. Everything is tailored to perfection, and extenuates his thin figure. He prefers dark colors, preferably green and black.

PERSONALITY:
Preston was coddled as a child by his mother, so he expects everything to be done right away, and for everything to just be done for him, or given to him. If you looked up "Spoiled brat" You'd find Preston and his sister Vanessa as prime examples. He's incredibly impatient, and thinks he's right about everything. He has a very "entitled" personality and takes satisfaction in rubbing in the Bolton name whenever he can.
He's the definition of a bully, and enjoys picking on people of a lower status. He believes he's better then a lot of people. He has a healthy respect for soldiers, however, mostly because he is not one and rather squishy. He looks up to his older brother and cousin, trying to prove himself to them that he doesn't have to be in the military or a warrior to be a "man." He enjoys his job of a money lender, collecting rent money for his father from their renters and those on their land. It makes him feel important, and like he's in charge. Mostly, he likes bossing people around and making people nervous when he shows up.
He's very insecure about being a "weaker" man, so he compensates by having a manly mindset. He's very much a Bolton, and wants to be the best Bolton he can be. That means proving himself useful to the king at court and anything else that might put the family on top. He's incredibly proud of his family's legacy and wants to continue to prove to everything that the Boltons are the best.
HISTORY:
Preston was the born the youngest son to Haywood Bolton and his wife. Growing up, he was close with his little sister, as they were incredible close in age. He was spoiled growing up and it was obvious he was his mothers favorite. She coddled him, giving him anything he wanted, and because of it, it went straight to his head. He grew up being his brother and cousin's shadows, following them everywhere and wanting to be just like them. He received nothing but tough love, but he didn't let it detour him. In his eyes, Xavier and Vance were true Bolton's, and Preston wanted to be just like them.
His dream of following in their footsteps however didn't go according to plan. Unlike them, he was not skilled in swordsmanship, and didn't have the mindset, nor the physical ability to join the military when he came of age. He was incredibly disappointed, and it showed for a great time when Father told him no. He Xavier was to be the Military son, Preston was to be the political one. They soon realized Preston's talents laid else where. He was a quick learner, and was surprisingly good with numbers. Having a knack for the more business side of the family, it was an obvious choice for Preston to follow in his fathers footsteps and be of use to him at court, while Xavier and Vance were of use on the battlefield.
When Preston was sixteen, his mother was suddenly killed in a mystic attack, that had killed not only her, but several others. His father never fully recovered, and Preston's hatred for the mystics began to grow. Being a Bolton, he understood his family's loyalty to King Allaricks cause. He follows his father loyally to their own cause, and has yet to realize, just what the Bolton's are willing to do, to rid Teronna of the mystics once and for all. Now 21, Preston is starting to be introduced to more of the family's secrets, and is learning what it actually means to be a Bolton.
