Kaiden chuckled softly. The young woman seemed to exist to showboat and terrify her brother. She sounded quite a bit like his own sister in those regards. Well, he supposed, if he could jumped from rigging to mast and crow's nest and back, he would too.
If she had suggested she was surprised to hear he had never considered the circus Kaiden would have laughed. Loudly. And a lot. Sure, it happened, but not all that often, otherwise it wouldn't be this potentially black mark thing to do. Besides, what would he even do in a circus act exactly? Juggle swords? Not likely. No, he got his thrills and happiness elsewhere and the circus, was not his dream. He was glad she was enjoying hers, but to have her even think that her dream was the best for others would have been amusing.
He smiled as she came to the natural conclusion he had encouraged. "I would get to prepare a lot of different ingredients...but if you've trailed by ship enough, you learn that sailors don't have very refined palettes. The guests though..." he shrugged. "But I quite enjoy my life here," he concluded. "Though it was good to learn some of yours and perhaps I will get to see more of it one day."

Lilith smiled some, finishing her fish on a stick and then moving to hold it and the bones behind her back. She didn’t have a trash bin near so she would wait to toss it into one.
She knew her life wasn’t for everyone but who didn’t sometimes think of running off and doing something else for a spell? She couldn’t imagine doing something else other than this. Lilith liked her freelance lifestyle, putting her into something with strict rules sounded terrifying to her.
A little giggle left her as she nodded, “They don’t- at least they know what salt is though! So I'm sure you'd make them happy enough,” she told him rather happily at that as she nodded, “That’s good. I know living on a ship isn’t everything or something that can be done for forever- I think id I wasn't doing this I would be a pirate...not the stealing kind but the sailing all over kind with no rules,” she said with a bit of a smile as she would look to the post and then move to pull herself back up on it; at least to a sitting position first and then moving to stand up on it now.

He smiled faintly and chuckled. They did know what salt was. Not always the good to eat kind, but seafarers were very 'salty.' Of course, he liked a lot of other seasoning and spices too, but he could certainly appreciate the joke.
"I don't think I would mind the ship. A few breaks to stretch my legs on solid ground and then back on the ship..." It had a lot of appeal sometimes. Maybe he should invest in a small ship. Something for pleasure sailing around the island, at least. And fishing.
As for her note about not the 'stealing' kind of pirate. "My lady, I do believe there is no other kind of 'pirate,'" he laughed. "But you would make a fine sailor!" he amended her words teasingly. "It was a pleasure talking to you, miss acrobat. Perhaps I will see you soon?" He asked, taking a step back toward the market on the docks and tossing her a wave.
