FACTS ::

• The only daughter of Jason and Jenna Aldridge, and the youngest child. Growing up was strict but did not lack love. Her parents made sure their children were well taken care of and became the best they could be. This included being well educated as well as physically fit and trained. To look at her tiny stature, someone may think Emily was incapable of holding her own. Whereas she may not be as capable as her brothers, she will certainly surprise you. Even if her love does not lie in the military, she makes sure to continue training to ensure she is able to at least defend herself well enough.
• The family lived in Teronna for awhile after the first war in Aralore, only returning to the new island once Queen Alexandria claimed back the throne. They've remained ever since, rebuilding their lives.
• Her true desire is to be a writer. She enjoys it, she loves it, even if she'll go through periods of time where she believes she is not creative enough, or her stories are dull and lacking interest. The point is, though, she keeps trying. She hopes to one day become a published author.
• She loves reading romance-adventure novels, rarely anything else but that doesn't mean she won't give other genres a try. Emily enjoys reading about a good, strong heroine that doesn't need a man to save her- just a man that can work beside her equally. Maybe she wishes for that in a marriage someday.
• Because she isn't active within the military like her brothers, she found herself a little assistant job at Aralore's library. She was always a constant visitor in search of new books, that its owner, Archimedes Crane, eventually offered her a job. He does not have children of his own, and has mentioned he would very much like to leave the shop to her one day. He's one of her dearest friends, the uncle she never had.
• Emily is often quiet and comes across as shy, but can actually be fairly talkative when the conversation strikes. She's also been known to randomly berate someone when they deserve it, unafraid to speak her mind. Sometimes she'll jump to conclusions when she knows she shouldn't.
  
• Loves to sing, but will not sing in front of others. Not even her family.
• She is self-conscious about her "big teeth".
  
• Being a failure or not good enough for someone are her biggest fears.
