PERSONALITY: Kiri can be defined as 'lawful good' to the point that it sometimes irritates her that she cannot be more selfish without being upset. She grew up in a volatile household where she quickly learned to take the blame and constantly compensate for others so that everyone could be at peace. Her motto for a long time was "well someone has to do it, it might as well be me."

She takes pride in her work, whether it is her baking, cleaning, singing while she works--she is a perfectionist in all that she does, and if she doesn't feel satisfied with the results, no one else will ever see it.

Now that she has moved out of her mother's home, and escaped a toxic romance, she is working to be more assertive and independent. It's slow going, but she is doing better. She wants to find her place in life, and her path moving forward, but she isn't quite sure where to start. As it is, she's taking things one day at a time, and trying to focus on treating herself with more respect.

HISTORY:
Kiri was born in Aralore before things went off the rails. Her family moved to Tresteria originally, then Arcisea, for her father's work. The business was better there, but her mother was furious at being uprooted again. Her parents divorced, and her mother took all the children. Kiri, having just turned 18, and being sick of her parents' bickering and desperate to find her own way, moved away.

Around that time she also fell in with Meghan, a girl who seemed to share all her interests. The two were inseparable, and Kiri didn't see any problem with that, at first, until she realized she was working herself to the bone to keep Meghan happy, and she was never allowed to see anyone else. Meghan's mental health and toxic behaviors took such a toll on Kiri she considered taking her own life. It was that realization that drove her to break things off and leave Arcisea completely.

She moved to Aralore to get away. She was eager to be useful, as always, and took up as an assistant to the local baker since it was what was needed. She found that the work suited her well, and she has been doing that ever since. The old baker retired, and Kiri now runs the business, paying him a small amount of rent each month to use the building the old man still technically owns.

When Aralore moved to the newer island, Kiri's family also moved back--a decision Kiri is both grateful for and irritated by. She had missed her family, but she also misses being on her own. She feels she doesn't have any personal space when they are constantly meddling in her life.

She currently lives in a shared house near the bakery with her best friend.
