We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

CURRENT RESIDENCE: Aralore
APPEARANCE: 6'0, well muscled, hair that never seems to stay in place. He always looks as if he's just been out in the wind. Shaves, but usually has dark stubble halfway through the day. Griffin dresses like a nobleman and carries himself like one, although he's not overly smug.

TITLE/RANK: Noble
GRAMARYE GIFT (if any): n/a
The measure of a man is what he does with power.
LIKES: puzzles, success, family, music
DISLIKES: heights, being lied to or cheated, small talk
HABITS: takes notes, chews on items (laces to a shirt, necklace, etc) when distracted, assuming he knows what others will say
SELF IMAGE: Griffin sees himself as the "boring" and responsible sibling. He's not entirely wrong, either.
REPUTATION: He is known for being smart and reliable, although a bit of a know it all. He also has a reputation for being difficult to shut up.
PERSONALITY: A rampant perfectionist, Griffin has an eye for detail and can be frustrated when others don't do things to his standards. He's often caught doing work that was not meant to be his because "it needed to be done right." He enjoys puzzles and problem solving, and gets excited when he is able to solve a difficult challenge. He considers himself more brains than brawn, but isn't afraid of manual labor when needed.
His siblings are everything to him, and his main goal is to ensure that the family legacy is safe so that their wellbeing is assured. He dislikes his father as much as either of them, but he knows how to scrape and bow the way his father likes in order to avoid making waves as much as possible.
He also partially blames himself for the loss of Jaren's men--he feels guilty that he was of no use to him or them.
HISTORY:
The middle son of the Wright family, Griffin was often less visible to his father, and had to work much harder to earn approval. Because he had no mind for fighting or warfare, he turned himself to other pursuits: reading, mathematics, history, and management. He's become quite adept at managing the family land and taking part in government matters at the castle.
While he was not exactly the favorite as a child, he now works fairly closely with his father as he prepares to take on some of the roles and responsibility that come with being head of the family. His father was reluctant to accept this at first, but he has more sympathy for Jaren's plight than he does for any of his other children.
