Face Claim: WONHO

CHARACTER NAME: Uriel Reeves
AGE: 28
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Traveler
APPEARANCE: Uriel stands at 6’4” and weighs a total of 200 pounds. He is a well sculpted prime example of true beauty. At least in his eyes. Though he’s proud of his appearance he’s not overly vain about it. Most of his weight comes from muscle built up over years of hard labor and fighting. He has deep brown eyes with flecks of gold around the iris. His skin is crossed with deep scars that line his body like a road map. The most distinctive one being one that starts at his right shoulder and lines across his chest to his left ribcage.
MARITAL STATUS: Single
FAMILY TIES: Lilith Reeves (Younger Sister), Raphael Reeves (Older Brother, deceased), Michael Reeves (Older Brother, deceased), Gabriel Reeves (Twin Brother, deceased), Sammael Reeves (Younger Brother, deceased), Constance Reeves (Mother, deceased), Cain Reeves (Father, deceased)
POSITION/OCCUPATION: Traveling Entertainer
TITLE/RANK: N/A
GRAMARYE GIFT: N/A
PERSONALITY: Uriel is a dangerously charming man. On the surface he’s kind, gentle, witty, and laid back. He’s got the kind of smile that could melt hearts and a laugh that could light up a room. When he speaks people generally feel drawn to listen. There’s a pleasant aura about him that people just seem to drink up. It seems that everything he does from how he works to how he walks is with purpose. Planned out ahead of time. He’s hard to catch off guard and harder to anger.
There’s nothing more dangerous than a charming man though. He’s frightfully intelligent and knows how to read and manipulate others far too well. Uriel finds that he cares deeply about just about everyone he meets, especially young girls and women. Going to great lengths to protect them or offer some kind of help to them. He feels deeply and passionately about many things. Perhaps too deeply. While he wears his heart of his sleeve Uriel is the type of man to murder without so much as a second thought.
Uriel feels the world is sick. It’s dirty, unclean, he’s been sent to cleanse it. He is the judge, jury, and executioner. An archangel of death. The voice he hears is that of the higher power. Guiding him on his mission. Or so he believes. He doesn’t discriminate against age, gender, status, or anything else when he kills. He feels no remorse or sadness. If anything he feels joy. Joy in knowing, believing, he’s done his job. That he’s helped clean one more soul.
HISTORY: Uriel was raised in a very strict household. His father was a very devout religious man and demanded that his family be as well. They lived on a large plot of land with four other families though Uriel and his siblings were raised to believe they were all one family.
When he was five years old he began hearing a voice. Someone talking to him that he couldn’t see. When he told his father about this he was berated and locked in a small dark room for three days. Any time he mentioned the voice his father only seemed to become more and more angry and his stays in the room became longer. His mother and brothers said nothing. Nobody said anything or tried to stop his father. Eventually he stopped talking about the voice out of fear.
Uriel saw awful things. While his mother attempted to take the brunt of any punishments his father saw necessary she couldn’t always protect her children. He, his mother, and his siblings were abused, publically humiliated, berated, all in the name of his father's god. One the voice told him was false.
When he was seven his youngest sister Lilith was born. The sweetest little thing he’d ever laid eyes on. Uriel knew he had to protect her. Oftentimes she was terribly ill. So tiny and frail. Uriel begged and pleaded that she would be better. Her cries broke his heart and he felt helpless to do anything. That’s when the voice told him that he could make her better. That he could make everyone better. All he had to do was listen and do as he was told.
By the age of twelve he’d killed four people. At first it had felt wrong. Killing was wrong wasn’t it? The voice reassured him that those people were sick. That he was taking care of them and the world by sending them away.
On the night of his sixteenth birthday he killed the rest of his family, except for Lilith. She was the one person he couldn’t bring himself to harm. Instead he took her with him. Told her they were going somewhere safe where no one could hurt either of them anymore. He burned the house down before they left and ran as far away as they could.
When he was seventeen he started a small group of entertainers. They began traveling from place to place doing anything and everything to put a smile of the face of everyone around them. They entertained nobles, threw extravagant parties for all to attend, and created a circus. Though this was more of less a cover for what Uriel really wanted. Cull the sick from the world to leave it cleaner than when he arrived.
