PERSONALITY:
Logan is is a very warm and loving person who is often playful, sometimes a little too much, with his friends and is very open with strangers. He’s often described as a golden retriever and much more puppy than grown dog. He can get carried away with his teasing.
He is fiercely loyal and protective, especially of his family and his children. They are his pride and joy and he would do anything for them. He is both an intimidating and charming person.
While not an angry person, he does have a short fuse when it comes to others threatening or joking about his wife and children, or implying that he is a bad father. Logan does in fact agree that he isn’t the best father, but he does everything he can to prove otherwise to Blake and his children.
When it comes to his job, he is a dedicated patriot. But he’s also only paid so much and there is a point where his job isn’t worth his family. He wouldn’t consider himself an extraordinary person in the slightest.
HISTORY:
Logan’s father was a knight and he knew from a young age that he would become one as well. He grew up in and around the castle, training with his father and other prospective young men to become a soldier. Through hard work, he found himself among the ranks of the royal guard, still hopeful to achieve more in the name of his king and country.
After he met Blake, though, his priorities changed. Blake was a farmers daughter whom he had a very classic clumsy encounter with at a market. Logan would visit her family’s stall almost daily just to talk to her and buy bread that he didn’t really eat. Needless to say, Blake was immediately aware of the soldier’s affections, even if Logan wasn’t himself. They were married within a year and a year later had their first daughter, Ainsleigh.
He spent all of his free time with his family. While it meant giving up on his goals of being a knight, Logan was happy with his new life and raising a family. Blake struggled with their second child, falling ill over the winter and then later losing the baby. The couple struggled with the loss but eventually their family grew to five.
A year ago, however, he lost his oldest daughter to mystics when they attacked Blake’s family farm and took the children and a few others hostage. Logan has never forgiven himself for not being there. Blake has quite forgiven him either. He’d reached out to an old friend in Sebastian, his captain, for support and comfort and while he got both, he realized that he needed a different sort of help with his situation.
Sebastian is attempting to recruit him to be a Warden.
