Face Claim: Rupert Grint
Player: Ollie
CHARACTER NAME: Daniel Graves
AGE: 25
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Traveler
APPEARANCE: Daniel stands a rather short 5’5” and weighs 126 pounds. He has short, fire red hair that’s usually as unkempt as the rest of him. Though he might not look it, there's more muscle to the man than most would expect. There’s a multitude of scars around his body though the two that stand out the most are the jagged one along his neck and the long one that goes from his right shoulder to the bottom left side of his chest.
MARITAL STATUS: Single
FAMILY TIES: Holly Graves (Older Sister)
POSITION/OCCUPATION: Pirate
TITLE/RANK: N/A
GRAMARYE GIFT (if any): N/A
PERSONALITY: Though he’s not that tall his personality might trick you into believing otherwise. It certainly seems to for him. Daniel is a smart mouthed pain who enjoys irritating other people. There doesn’t seem to be much that the man takes seriously in life or that he cares about. He’s quick witted and laid back with almost a permanent grin plastered on his face.
He’s playful and affectionate with just about everyone he meets. Daniel doesn’t exactly seem to understand personal boundaries, though he does know when to back off. With those he does care about he can be surprisingly gentle and sweet. Though he might not seem like it at first Daniel would gladly give anything he has to keep those he loves safe and happy.
While he might not take most things seriously he does in fact know when it’s time to get to business. When it comes to work Daniel can be a perfectionist who will hammer at something until it’s done right. He doesn’t like burdening people by asking for help, in anything. He loves making people laugh, even at his own expense.
HISTORY: Daniel was raised in a very poor family. They didn’t have much but that never seemed to matter. Daniels father was a pirate and was more often than not away from home. The boy didn’t even meet his father until he was four years old. Still, he idolized the man, much to his mothers discontent. Daniel dreamed of becoming a pirate.
Of being in the open ocean with nothing to tie him down. Free. When he was twelve his mother was killed, leaving him and his sister alone. That seemed to be all the motivation the boy needed to follow his dream. He stowed away on the next ship that came to their shores. When he was discovered instead of being thrown off the captain decided to keep him as a cabin boy.
For four years Daniel cooked, cleaned, polished boots, anything just so he could stay on the ship. Some of the men became rather attached to him and began training him. When he was sixteen the captain was killed in a fight and most of the men were arrested. Daniel managed to slip away, barely. Though he was devastated at the loss of his crew, his family, it didn’t slow him down in the slightest.
