BUSINESS: Daemon's family has long supported local blacksmiths in Tresteria, namely one specific one who is one of the finest weapon craftsmen on the island. Some members of the Belmont family take to the trade more directly.

Daemon was a classically well trained soldier, excelling in sword combat, although what he was really good at was strategy and calculations. He's not very good at knowing when to back off and not over do something. He joined the military at the age of seventeen and was more infamous for his willingness to fight anyone, even his allies (though he never over stepped a line, he enjoyed taunting people). He served in the effort to aid Aralore in the Royal Army.

PERSONALITY:
He is an is an extrovert who enjoys socializing and acting the perfect gentleman at parties. He's not a very serious sort, and used to be quite the exhibitionist, not much for backing down from a challenge and he still isn't. In the recent past, Daemon had a cavalier attitude and a soldier's ego, though he has become a bit less focused and more level headed now that he is retired from military life. He can still be quick to offense and anger, especially when it comes to protecting his wife.

Coralline is his everything and he's not afraid to display his affection and adoration for his wife publicly, much to the dismay of society and, sometimes, his wife. He'll do almost anything to impress and protect her. He can be a little overbearing in that department in many ways, but he also entirely respects and supports the woman's right to be her own person and direct her own life. Although quite commanding and in charge publicly, he prefers to let Coraline direct their personal lives.



HISTORY:
Daemon was raised a classically trained Tresterian nobleman and was betrothed at a young age to another noble woman that while he had a good relationship with, the two were not ready for a serious relationship and continued to put off their engagement. He served in the military for a number of years and was an officer in the royal army. When he was younger, he aspired to lead his own, though as a minor noble's son, that was not very likely despite his keen grasp of battle strategy. After serving overseas during the Aralore defense against Saelis, however, he was injured in the shoulder. Although he recovered, Daemon still experiences limited motion with his shoulder that makes being a career soldier difficult. He's not entirely certain of his direction in life at the moment.

Fortunately, that was where he met his now wife, Coraline. Originally from Aralore, the woman was serving as a nurse and and helped him throughout his recovery. The two became fast friends and Daemon was certain they were meant to be together. Perhaps it was 'love at first sight' but he immediately recognized the connection he shared with this woman that had been lacking in his betrothal. Upon returning to Tresteria, he quickly ended his existing engagement before returning to Aralore to court the young Marchioness.

He has a budding interest in government and politics, though very little respect for the current council. Out of boredom at first, but now out of a desire to change things, he began serving on the Minor Council as their Chancellor, organizing meetings and ensuring the voices of the council were heard higher up. Which...so far has not been very successful. If it were up to him, he would follow the Queen in a heartbeat. But it can be difficult to safely suggest such outlandish ideas. So, in the interim, whomever the Queen supports, he will be happy to support as well.
