HISTORY: Alya was born to a very loving family, nothing overly wrong but she always felt odd. She didn't like the obsession she believed her father had with making perfumes, even if they smelt great in the end, she just was not fond of it. So knowing early on that she didn't want to have anything to do with it, she'd use any money she could get from her parents or had saved to start sewing. At first it was seen as a hobby but then it was soon realized that she was not going to follow in her family's foot steps.
As a young teen that rebellion grew stronger and the more she rebelled the better her work became. She learned she was incredible with needle work and could embroider almost anything, she had a knack for using her hands and for doing complicated works with little teachings from anyone. Her parents still tried to push or encourage her to go into perfumes, to make the perfect scent but instead she balked and made the perfect gown instead. Alya grew to love fashion more and more, pulling from her family a bit as they didn't know what to do; especially when she snapped at them for telling her to give it up since anyone could do it.
Alya stubbornly forged on, moving from her parents home at sixteen to live in a small cottage on their lands still (she wasn't wholly ready for independence yet and came to this agreement) so that she could work but they could still keep an eye on her and try to persuade her to change her path to do what they do. She was bullheaded in her no and was slowly starting to sell clothing and make her own but she still had a ways to go to grow up and out of her rebellious ways...
