As soon as he was able too, Drew whisked Sienna out a side entrance to the ballroom. Not wanting any more chances for his sister or his brother, or any of his family for that matter to suddenly appear and embarrass him more. Besides, he would have some explaining to do now. There was no hiding the fact who he was now. Dani had thrown out his nickname, and it didn't take a genius to know the names of the infamous deGrey twins, Dani and Drew. He was regretting approaching Sienna in the first place. He'd been stupid, he should have known better. It was Yule for God sakes! Of course the majority of his entire family was going to be there! The only one missing was his grandmother, and he was thanking whatever god there was that he hadn't made her arrive. Of course the night was still somewhat young... If Dani had shown up out of the blue....Nana could too. He shivered at the thought. Still, despite knowing the consequences of approaching one of his former mistress's, Drew had done it anyways. A dear friend he'd told his sister. She was he supposed. Out of his mistress's, Sienna had one of the favorites, and he enjoyed her company in the bedroom and outside of it. She was a friend, and he was sticking to his story. "I know we didn't get that chance to dance, but it was quite stuffy in there, thought we could use the air." He sighed with a small chuckle. He patted her hand at her elbow. Now that they were out of the ball he could slow his pace down. He wasn't in a hurry no longer to get her away from prying eyes. He looked down at her, noting again how lovely she looked clad in that red dress. "I must confess Sienna, I was pleasantly surprised to see you again." He said quietly. Sienna Rousseau

Sienna wouldn't protest to being whisked away from the dance, the fresh air was needed as she couldn't breathe, couldn't think anymore. How had she not known? How had she been so stupid. She was smart and clever, she had tricked countless people and yet she didn't even know the man she had laid with was that important of a man. She knew of his reputation, what lady didn't? She didn't want to be a notch in a bed post but it still stung mentally knowing more than she did before.
Once they were away from it all, she would lean her head against him, "I'm glad for it. I wasn't...I didn't expect to find all that out so suddenly I must admit," she told him with a light tone but her voice was trembling a little and her fingers went up to her neck to the necklace she wore that he had gifted her. It was so simple and beautiful, it was perfect.
"I had come hoping to find you honestly...I wasn't going to, I don't like to party a lot and well I don't have many people to celebrate Yule with in truth." she told him softly before she looked up at him, "Andrew...I have to tell you something before this night goes on any further but I don't know how to," she told him, her head shaking as she looked away from him her hands shaking some as she figured she might not be able to speak it but maybe he might understand if she showed him.
Sienna would move in front of him, taking his and placing it against her rounding belly as she looked up at him now, hoping he might realize what she was unable to physically say to him right now. Her heart was pounding in her chest, tears in her eyes as she looked at him and waited, studying his face to gauge his reaction to her.

Drew couldn’t help but laugh nervously as she said she hadn’t expected to hear all about who he was. Had he had his way, she honestly would not have known. He liked his privacy, especially from his family. They were loving, don’t get him wrong, but the deGrey’s were also all borderline clinically insane in the best way. There was no telling what they would do if they had gotten their hands on one of his mistresses, or what they would tell her. As it was, Drew was tempted to ask Sienna not to meet with Dani, just because he was afraid of what his sister would say to her. Okay maybe he was terrified of the sort of embarrassing stories Sienna would learn about him. He had that bad boy bachelor vibe going on for him! Could you blame him?
His brows climbed up his forehead in surprise as she said she was hoping to find him there. Why would she want to see him? There was a small flutter in his stomach that maybe he could get a winter fling before going back to the isle. And with Sienna? He didn’t usually repeat mistresses but...Well she was special. And he had to admit she hadn’t drifted far from his mind since they’d met those months ago. “Really?” He asked curiously. They’d met at a party so it surprised him to hear she didn’t usually go to them. He must have been lucky when he came across her then.
There seemed to be something wrong with Sienna then. A sixth sense he felt suddenly in the way she spoke and held herself. She was nervous about something, and he didn’t understand why. Was she nervous about him? Was she wanting maybe to spend time with him again and just didn’t know how to ask about it? He did his best to keep the smug little smile off his face, but he certainly stood a little taller as his ego got stroked at the idea. He really was a charmer wasn’t he?
“It’s alright,” He beamed down at her, that charming mischievous Drew grin on his face. As she moved in front of him, he did a quick glance around the corridor to make sure they were alone before he was looking back down at her. “I wouldn’t mind to-” He stopped mid sentence when she was taking his hand and then placing it over her stomach. He blinked at her then. A look of confusion crossing his face while his brow furrowed. He stared at his hand, wondering why in heaven's she had placed it there. It felt...fine to him, maybe a bit roundish? Was she bloated? Having tummy troubles? Oh-Oh dear, was she going to get sick on him?! He’d just polished these shoes!
His face turned to worry, and minor horror at the idea that she might throw up on his shoes, his eyes flickered up to her eyes, sheen of unshed tears coming in from one of the windows. Oh dear she was embarrassed wasn’t she? She didn’t want to say she was about to get sick right?
You’re a gentleman Andrew, you can do this. You are a classy man. Handle this with tact. Right. I can do this. He told himself. “Are you not feeling well?”He said slowly, unsure of really how to proceed. “Do you need to sit down? See a doctor? Was it something you ate?” He began. To list the possibilities.

Sienna was stressing now knowing who he was, she never expected to learn that the man she gave herself to for a time had been that Andrew was Drew DeGrey who often had various women. Had she just been one of those women and been a bit too dense to think that maybe it was a romance- even a fleeting one. She had to stop her mind from getting away from her though and would give a small nod. "Yes. It's not like I knew where to find you if I ever wanted to share your company again," she told him, a light tease in her tone to him.
Gosh that smile, that charming mischievous smile that he gave her before that sent butterflies in her belly. She couldn't resist it and fell for it again and she melted in front of him as he spoke and then stopped to stare at her. She hoped he would understand but the man. That handsome yet extremely dense man did not get it and she would look down and take a breath to calm the sudden anger that blossomed inside her.
"Andrew three months ago, when we were together...you got me pregnant.I didn't know it until just early last month when I was constantly ill and my stomach was...not the same and now, I'm pregnant by you," she told him, her voice shaking as she held his hand tightly. Her throat was clenching as tears burned in her eyes. She hated just saying it but the man didn't know a pregnant belly it seemed so he needed the sudden reality in his face that has been hers.
"I saw a doctor and a midwife...both say I am three months with twins at least," she told him just not stopping now as she needed to get it all out and now she had and now there were tears rolling down her cheeks as she stared up at him. Fear in her eyes at this and at telling him. She had done this alone and wished she hadn't but there was little she could do now save wait for his next reaction.
Her heart was hammering in her chest though, her fingers clenching around his hand while her other played with the necklace she wore that he gave her. She could only wait and mentally panic.

Drew was trying to keep himself calm as that is what was expected of him. If she wasn’t feeling well she should have said so sooner, he could have gotten her a doctor, or went and helped her lay down somewhere but-
What.
He blinked. Looking down at her, his expression was confused, as he stared down at her before it slowly drifted to blank as he looked at Sienna. Her hand was tight around his where it still rested on the roundness of her belly. You got me pregnant. Pregnant. Sienne was PREGNANT. With his baby. This was a joke right? Had Declan or Dani put her up to this? He was frozen in place, it hadn’t get set in the heaviness of her words, as he just stared down at her.
She was continuing then, and Drew could practically see the fear creeping into her eyes as she told him the rest. He was paling then. Twins? At the least?! His eyes slowly began to widen and his eyes went to where his hand was resting. “T-twins?!” His voice croaked, “At the least?” He squeeked, he snatched his hand away, unable to process everything, as his eyes just went wider. He took his hands and ran them up and down his face, pressing his hands together, he held them against his lips, as a plethora of emotions went across his face, he found himself turning to the side, then as a bark laughter came out. “Twins?!” He said more loudly, there was a slight shake of his head. “You’re joking right?” He found himself whispering. He looked at her again, and something told him she was NOT joking. But, “No, this-” He was in disbelief. Not believing for a second he would be so stupid as to get one of his mistresses pregnant. He was careful. It was the one thing Drew deGrey never forgot. “How did this happen?” He asked exasperated. He began to pace the width of the hallway, simply because he couldn’t sit still.
The man was in shock, unable to process any of this. Had she used him? Played him to try and get his family’s money? He wasn’t a Demarais-deGrey, but the Dark deGrey’s still had their small fortunes. No- She hadn’t known who he was. Not until Dani had so thankfully blurted that tid bit. But still…. Was she an actress? Was she playing him? “I was careful Sienna, I’m always careful, This is-No, no it can’t be happening.” He was rambling, and his hands were shaking. Drew was the last one suited for fatherhood out of all the deGrey’s. Maybe Wesley was a close second and Dani a third, but that was for motherhood. Drew was- Were the babies even his? He whirled on her, his face a mixture of sudden anger and betrayal that she might try and put someone else’s baby on him. His hands were clenched, but one look at her, and the air was knocked from his lungs. He knew in his gut Sienna was just not the type. She’d wanted to do the right thing in telling the father he was going to be that father.
Drew carted his hands through his perfectly sculpted hair. Ruining the work he’d put into it, in that moment he didn’t care.
He was fucked.

Sienna watched him go through a sudden wave of realization as it hit him, her fingers holding his hand against her swelling belly that held his children inside. She flinched a little when he pulled away, taking a step back as she nodded, "Yes," she managed to get out, her voice shaking as she told him this. He didn't look good but he at least didn't look like he was going to hit or call her a liar. At him asking if this was a joke she glared at him, "Do I sound like I'm joking Andrew?" she asked him, not even hiding the fear in her voice over this and when he asked how this happened she just blinked- did the man seriously not know how babies were made? "How do you think? I-I didn't do this on purpose I swear," she promised him watching him pace.
She would wrap her arms around herself, tears rolling down her pale cheeks, 'Were we careful? I didn't know to take anything for after...I...I just enjoyed my time with you and you never told me to take anything. It...just never crossed my mind," she told him, sadness in her voice. How could a few nights of fun and just letting go lead to this? OH she knew how now.
"Andrew...I promise, I swear, I didn't try to get pregnant but...I can't do this alone. My own parents aren't even alive anymore...I don't know how to do this and I can't hide it or hide away for months," she told him, her voice shaking as she held onto her necklace still, she felt the odd bit of shame from her emotions at just admitting what she never really told anyone. An orphaned noble lady with no family. Tears just kept rolling down her cheeks as she was already quitting her maid position because she was not willing to let her identity slip that way.
"Andrew..." she called out to him, a soft plead in her voice. She was partially scared he was going to toss her away but then what? What would she do? What could she do even, he was powerful, more so than herself and now she was at his mercy practically and the redhead hated that, hated this vulnerable position she was in with him right now. The next few moments were resting on his shoulders now because all she wanted to do was leave and cry and panic because it was all so much for her. She would take the stress of following around someone and stealing over this any day.

'Were we careful? I didn't know to take anything for after...I...I just enjoyed my time with you and you never told me to take anything. It...just never crossed my mind," Oh no no nono. “Sienna I always have things for after! There’s no way I would have--” He said angrily, his voice rising. But then the realization slammed into him as he recalled that first night. The wine. That infernal, damning wine. The donning of it showed on his face, and he rubbed his hands up and down his face, sinking down into a squat as his fingers steepled together and he rested them against his lips.
Andrew deGrey’s downfall had been a bottle of fancy wine, and splendid company. He’d been too hungover the next morning, no that entire damn week to even think- He let his head hand for a moment while his elbows rested on his knees. Sienna kept talking. He didn’t know what was worse, the fact she was an orphan, now experiencing her first pregnancy with twins by herself, or the fact that she was having his babies. He’d cursed this poor girl. Some gargoyle of a fairy godmother had cursed this woman with Andre deGrey. He didn’t know what to do. Surely he would ruin his children’s lives-- Their mother’s life, just as he had his own father? Was the world not cruel enough to him?
He felt the phantom pain of that wound on his chest. And his hand suddenly clenched the front of his shirt, grimacing. Hearing the sadness, that fear in Sienna’s voice was not helping matters. She needed help, wanted his help. Drew was not the deGrey that could help her. He’d fathered those children maybe, but he was not father material. She needed someone like Triston, or Declan. Someone responsible. That wasn’t Drew. Not him. Gods not him.
The plea in her voice, saying his name was his undoing. Any restraint he had left flew away and he was left feeling frustrated and confused. “Sienna I-” He spoke so quiet he wasn’t sure she could hear him. “I don’t know what to do.” He confessed. He slowly rose to his feet, looking at her. His own fear reflecting in his eyes. “I don’t know what to do.” He said more firmly. “I- I need to think. Think about what do- I” His jaw clenched as he looked at her. “I am so sorry for doing this to you.” He whispered. The pain flashed in his dark gaze for a moment as he rubbed a hand over his mouth.

Sienna felt like he slapped her then, as if this was her fault and that she didn't do anything to prevent this. "Dang it I didn't know to take anything! You were my first, why would I know that?" she admitted to him. She had been well plied with wine and arousal for it to not overly be uncomfortable until the next day but she was ok at the end of it all. She hadn't told him because he never asked and now she felt like it was for some reason her fault.
The young redhead looked at him, tears rolling down her cheeks as she watched him just drop down to a squat in front of her. She had a disgusting sinking feeling that he was going to make her deal with this all alone with no one to help or lean on. Would he do that? Would he be that cruel to her? To leave her and his own children and never look back?
Her head fell and she stared down at the bump on her midsection that held the little fluttering movements she felt all the time now, "And I do?" she told him then. When he said he needed to think about what to do, she felt like it was a hit- he was going to leave and leave her alone with this, wasn't he? "I...I should go now, I'm not in any real festive state...I only came to tell you and I really don't feel well," she told him. Sienna was visibly pale, the stress and morning sickness mixing together as she would reach out to gently smooth his hair some for him as tears rolled down her eyes, "I...I only ask that you don't make me go through this alone. Please. I don't care who you are or what you have or do in your free time but please...I'm pleading with you to not leave me with this alone," she told him as she couldn't stop the tears rolling down her face as she fixed his hair with her shaking hand. Slowly though, she would move around him, her steps wobbling and uneasy as she kept her fingers pressed against her lips as the tears just wouldn't stop rolling down her cheeks. It felt bleak right now, heartbreakingly bleak for her because Sienna didn't know what she was going to do and she wasn't sure what he would do either.

If Nana deGrey was standing there, in that corridor, she'd be beating Drew upside the head with her cane. In fact, he could hear her voice already. "Andrew Marcus deGrey! What in the bloody hell were you thinking!" He wasn't Nana, that was the problem. Her quiet question at him had him grimacing. No, he didn't expect her to know. It's why she came to him wasn't? To do something? Anything...Do something Drew, you bloody fool. He thought. He was frozen though. Scared out of his wits mind. He didn't know what to do. He was freezing up all over again like he had on that battlefield.
His mouth parted to tell her to wait. To not leave, she shouldn't leave in this state right? It wasn't healthy? Wasn't...good for the babies? Dammit! Why didn't he know anything! She was pale, and it concerned him. He wanted to do something for her, but he was afraid of what to do. Of what that would mean. Declan and Dani's marriages all failed... The youngest deGrey of the trio, was afraid to commit. That's what Sienna was asking him right? Wanting him to commit to her. To the babies?
Her pleas were like a blow after blow. He could feel the air leaving his lungs and he felt like Dani had kicked him in the family jewels. Drew watched those tears roll down her cheeks, knowing he'd put them there. He'd never wanted this. There was a reason why he didn't want this. Sienna moved around him, starting down the hallway and he stared where she'd once been. I'm pleading with you to not leave me with this alone, An honorable man would have said something without hesitation. Not have made her wait. Not have made her cry in the first place. Wipe away those tears and tell her he'd deal with it.
How long are you going to let her walk away from you Drew? A voice asked him. He knew right from the beginning Sienna was different. That's what he liked about her. She wasn't like the rest. No, she was special. And he'd been happy to see her that evening. If there was no pregnancy announcement, he would have asked to spend time with her again while he was on shore leave. He would have done something out of the usual for him, seeing her again.
That meant something didn't it? "W-wait!" His voice croaked. His heart began to roar in his ears, and Drew whirled around. He took long strides forward, closing whatever space was between him a Sienna. A mixed look of disbelief and determination on his face, as he hurried forward. Depending on how ahead she'd gotten from him, he'd even broke into a run, his shoes hitting across the marble. His hand reached for Sienna's wrist, gently yet firmly, gripping it. Forcing her to turn to face him while the other wrapped around her waist, pulling her flush against him so he could feel that bump of hers. "Wait," He said quietly searching her eyes. "Let me figure things out, You-" He spoke quietly, yet hurriedly to her, reaching up to wipe those tears away. Everyone else in the family might have called him an asshole, but even Drew was a decent human. He deserved some credit dammit. "We'll figure this out. Together Sienna." If that wasn't a promise she wouldn't have to face this alone, he didn't know what else it was.

Sienna felt like she had taken the worst gamble of her life right now. She gambled that the Andrew she met would have something to say or some advice or solution to help with this but she had rolled wrong and now was going to have to be alone. She would have to seak a meeting with the Rogue King and Queen and explain what happened and that nothing could come from it because she had been a fool. She had placed him silently in a special place in her heart because of the time they spent together and if this is what a broken heart feels like on top of everything else, please take it away.
When he didn't come after her she would just keep walking down the path, the heels of her shoes making a light sound against the stone as she was trying to find the best way to get out without people seeing her like this. She was a lady, she had her pride still and people seeing her crying would be a painful blow to her already fragile emotional state. Fragile, that word could make her laugh because no one would describe her like that but she felt like one more move and she would shatter into a million pieces.
Sienna wasn't sure she actually heard him and it wasn't in her head, she just tried to keep walking while the cool air bit and flushed her wet face more until a hand was wrapped around her slender wrist. In a motion, she was turned and pulled right up against him and it took a moment for her green eyes to clear some to see that it was Andrew and not some stranger trying to get handsy with her.
She felt his hand touching her face, it was gentle and made her eyes close for a moment as she listened to his voice. It took a moment for it to sink in though, he said we, not her or him but we. Looking at him this time now, a little confusion on her face. She wasn't oblivious to who Andrew was and what he often did but as far as her knowledge went, she was the only one to end up in this state. Slowly she calmed and then her arms wrapped around him, her hands bunching up his shirt in her fingers as she just clung onto him now. "Thank you..." she told him softly, her voice aching and relieved. She took that as a promise from him, even if she was still worried he might regret it. "What even are we going to do?" she found herself asking him softly because she wasn't so sure he was the marrying type- she wasn't sure she was either but her reputation was friggen important to her. "I do...have a manor where I live. I can tell you where and if you want to come over to talk or if you want to tonight but I...I don't want to take you from your family," she told him. He had a living family, her birth family was dead but she also wasn't sure she wanted to risk the court seeing her in her upset state right now if they were at the ball mingling with everyone.

Drew watched Sienna intently, wiping away the rest of her tears with his thumb before his hand rested on the back of her head while she hugged him. He held her close, lifted his head up to the ceiling as if he was looking for a sign from some god, or some deity to show him what do to.
He let a small sigh out and looked down at the top of Sienna’s head. He rubbed the small of her back with the hand that was around her waist. “I don’t know, but we’ll figure it out. We have...time.” He mumbled. A few months at least, though if she was having twins….their time would be limited….Still, it was a holiday. They could still at least enjoy it right? Or what was left of it. “Give me a few days Sienna. Dani just got home, and I don’t want her sticking her nose into this quite yet. I-I might be able to figure something out, but we’ll talk later alright?” He said looking down at her, trying to catch her eye. “Before I have to go back to the isle. Promise.” He told her gently. “I can’t tonight. There’s a lot to process.” He confessed, grimacing slightly. A lot to process indeed.
“But,” He looked down and raised a hand to gently tilt her head back so she’d look at him. “I’ll see you home, safely.” He told her. He wasn’t going to let her go rushing off and possibly ending up frozen and dead in a snowbank at this time of night. Besides, this way he’d know where her home was, for when he decided to come visit. “Okay?” He asked softly. He ran a thumb over her cheek again while he searched her eyes, and then he bent his head down to press his lips on top of her head. The only comfort he thought he could give right now. You’re going to be a father Drew… You’re going to have to do something… A voice told him. It made him uneasy, but...He’d deal with it.

Her fingers bunched up the cloth of his shirt, her eyes closing as she held onto him. Tonight she was just a woman, a lady who needed someone to just help and fix this or make her not feel so painfully alone through this. Her pregnancy was well underway, her belly starting to round out and small flutters being felt, and doing this as a single woman did not appease her.
"I don't...you know how hard it was to make a dress that hid this?" she asked him, her tone was a little teasing now but it was something that her hiding was not going to be an easy feat. She was a slender woman, so her belly and chest growing were going to be noticed rather quickly. Slowly she would look up at him as he talked, nodding at that but then he said before he had to go. So she would be alone, "You're not staying here are you?" she asked him then, wanting to know if he had a ship ready to whisk him away from this so he could continue his carefree life. He didn't have to be the one to carry children and then birth them. She understood it was a lot for him to process and would nod to that, "I know...I didn't know how else to find you...I'm sorry I had to tell you here," she told him, feeling a bit guilty for that as her fingers went back to playing with the little necklace he gave her.
That surprised her a little bit and she was a bit anxious at that one. Slowly she would nod, "Ok, It's not a long ride from here," she told him as he kissed her head. She would lift her hand and cover his with her own as she would just hold onto him right now. She felt so drained and tired, her feet were hurting and she was slowly trying to prepare herself for the possible pain of him leaving her here while he left once more. "Is there a way to walk through without anyone seeing me? I fear I must look awful right now," she told him and if anyone from the court was there and saw Her with tear shot eyes and splotchy cheeks they wouldn't ask questions, no, they would start try and get answers as to who made her cry.

Drew looked sadly down at Sienna. Of course he wasn’t staying. He couldn’t, she knew that. He was in the military, only relief for the holiday. He’d have to go back in a few weeks. His life resolved around his work currently, and he couldn’t just put it on pause because she told him he was going to be a father. His own father had left countless times when he was younger for the isle. Hell, Drew had even followed in his footsteps. He could do the right thing he left thought. What he should do which was at least marry her. Then his family could help support her.
The question was, what was Drew going to do though? He had his own set of rules and currently they were broken, and it was yet another thing he was going to have to deal with. “I”m only here for the Holiday Sienna, I have to go back.” He said quietly. It wasn’t up to him or he’d be marked a deserter, and deGrey’s did no such thing. He nodded at her next question, carefully, tucking her under his arm. He’d then help her along the hallway going towards the back hallways to the carriages where he would then find the one he’d come with in, and help her inside. Once they were both seated inside, he’d give the driver instructions to Sienna’s residence so he could safely see her home.

Sienna didn’t know what to think or do, she was carrying his babies inside her and soon others would know that she had a tryst unless she claimed that some gentleman had done the unspeakable but even then it wouldn’t help her. She was in turmoil that was making her heartache terribly and she just wanted to cry some more.
“Am I allowed to know where? To…to let you know how they are doing?” she asked him. There was a sad pain in her voice because she wasn’t sure what he was going to do for her. Would he marry her? Probably not, she wasn’t incredibly wealthy, had no ‘living’ family, and then her job with the court.
She would just hold onto him as they walked to the carriage and would get inside it. Siting was uncomfortable, her body adjusting as she would reach to her hair and start to pull out the pins that held it up and out of her face. She was tired, so tired and with giving directions, Drew would now know where she lived. A solitary mansion with plenty of flowers and trees on the property to give it elegance. It was beautiful but it was also quiet as there were only the bare minimum servant's there that she needed.
