The shop is funded by Emma’s father, Godfry Savatier but everything inside the shop is purely by her design. The outside of the shop was kept rather simple, the building made of dark cherry wood and crisply carved stone with marble. The inside was not overly large, the floor was of the same white marbled stone that had swirls of black and silver in it, the trim more of the beautiful cherry wood at lighter tones to play with the light. Hanging from the ceiling there was a rather ethereal looking chandelier that held over a dozen candles(they were well maintained and there was no sign of any wax drippings). Even though the shop was decorated with dark wood, it was rather bright inside from the windows; which were decorated in iron metalworking to protect the shop; that helped to illuminate the treasures inside. Emma wanted the best light from all angles for people to enjoy the look from all sides.
Along the walls of the shop were wooden cases with glass viewing panels to see the treasures inside. A total of four would hold a display her work; from necklaces to rings, bracelets, hairpieces, and pins, even crowns that were adorned with hanging jewels.
Once you step in though, you would see a rather large work desk with various gem making items on it and cases holding the precious items while the Lady worked. She more than happily would welcome anyone to pull up a chair to chat as she made her latest piece. Often there was paper and pencil on the desk so that she could make a sketch mock-up of what a customer wanted. Near the desk would be a rather comfortable day couch for clients to sit on and side tables that held glasses and a bottle of wine from the vineyard to enjoy while discussing matters with her.
The shop would seem to have one entrance, to the back of the shop would be held two secret rooms behind panels that only Emma and her family knew about.
The shop welcomes anyone and the Lady is more than happy to help create something or restore something to its former glories. This shop also keeps a rotation shift change of guards to protect the lady inside and the goods as well.
