About Lucifer's Pleasures

Description: Located in a small corner of the city of Ethion you will find a small bookstore run by a young woman by the name of Hayden Faragher. The store is named after its resident cat, who lives up to his name. The previous owner, Lucy, was the only one who seemed to truly understand the fluffy devil. Since her passing, Hayden can often be found scolding the fluffy beast. 

Customers beware: Lucifer is a beautiful large black and white Maine Coon, who often appears to be sweet and loving, but it's all an act. He lures his victims in right before he'll either claw or bite their hands. He's a menace, but his new owner tries her best to keep him from causing to much trouble. 

The door is always open, propped open with a large rock with a badly painted portrait of Lucifer's face. Upon entering the store you'll find the shop counter to the left with that day's "today's picks" in which someone will set out various different reads. The counter is a disorganized mess of papers and bookkeeping. It's not nearly as disorganized as the rest of the store. It's a librarian or a neat freak's worst nightmare. The shelves are stock full of various books, stacks of them liter the floor. Some stacks even reaching well over six feet tall, threatening to fall down at any moment. Customers will have to be mindful of where they walk or they'll knock a stack over. There is no clear sign of where any of the different sections are, and most people will just have to start picking books up to see what there is. If you have something particular in mind of what you're looking for, Hayden has a good sense of where she tosses books at, and can generally find what you're looking for, It'll just take her a bit. She's the only one that can make sense of the disaster that is Lucifer's Pleasures. 

The store sells a mix of new and old books as well as Lavender incense that Hayden will burn, walking carefully around the store with it to give it more of a pleasant smell.

The shop has a cozy, almost whimsical feel about it. Hayden is always willing to talk books with people should they feel the need too. She's a sass master and doesn't put up with anyone wanting to cause trouble. If you're not careful, she'll set the devil on you. So enter if you dare, to come down to Lucifer's Pleasures. Where all your bookish desires will be met.
