CHARACTER NAME: Phixora DiRossi

AGE: 24

CURRENT RESIDENCE: Aldage - Oisen

APPEARANCE: Phixora is an abundance of rage in a very small vessel. She is only 5'2, but her harsh aura makes her a presence in any room. She stands with her arms crossed or on her hips most of the time and wears her wheat-colored wavy hair up in a twist most of the time to keep it out of her way. She has a variety of 'hair sticks' which she uses to keep her hair in place. These hair sticks are actually sharpened to a blade at the end, to be used as a weapon if needed. She dresses in dark colors and typically wears heavy eyeliner as well.

In addition to her stiletto-style hair sticks, Phixora has a number of knives on her person at any given moment. One knife hangs at her side in plain view, while the others are stashed in various places. She also enjoys hidden weapons as a kind of hobby, such as brooches that contain small throwing knives, her hair sticks, etc.

PERSONALITY: Most people would describe Phixora as aggressive, and that's putting it mildly. She is combative and harsh with most people, and her patience is thin. She has a clear soft spot for horses, her sister, and the clan leader, Xahrina Oisen , but anyone outside that is met with glares and verbal barbs. She is noticeably calmer when she is spending time near Xahrina.

Phixori is obviously a very small person and based on her bright blue eyes and wavy dirty-blonde hair, most people see her as being innocent and childlike. She got tired of people assuming she could not take care of herself and has dedicated herself to making that obviously not the case. She wants to be, and to appear, completely self-sufficient and even dangerous. Because she makes assumptions that people are naive and underestimating her, she treats them derisively by default.

Phixora is nearly obsessed with the Oisen clan leader, Xahrina. She admires Xahrina's calm and hardworking approach and appreciates that being leader has not made her lazy or pompous. Xahrina's perfect confidence is never overdone, in Phixora's opinion. She will do anything that Xahrina asks, and will not question her unless she does something extremely out of character. If asked she will say that she admires Xahrina and considers her a friend, however, the reality is a bit more complicated. She is essentially in love with Xahrina although she has not admitted this to anyone, even herself. Phi is aware that she's attracted to both men and women, but since she has no intention of getting into a relationship, it doesn't bother her much. She puts it out of her mind most of the time.

SELF IMAGE: Phixora is very conscious of her slight build and focuses a good deal of energy on making herself a threat. She enjoys being intimidating or abrasive whenever possible. 
REPUTATION: Phixora is known for being quick tempered and irritable. Her quick reactions make her an excellent guard, however, as she will not hesitate to protect the Chieftess. 

HISTORY:
Phixora is the younger daughter of Loxana and Keenan DiRossi. Growing up Oisen meant being surrounded by horses, which Phi didn't mind in the least. She loves riding, and does it as easily as she walks or runs. She began to learn trick riding as she grew older, and can ride (and fire a bow) while standing or hanging from the saddle in various ways. She can also pull other people onto her horse while in motion provided they are relatively the same size as her or smaller. 

During her training, Phixora showed an aptitude for combat, despite not appearing so. She is best with small knives, and she prefers stealth tactics to a direct challenge, although she won't hesitate to take on a threat. Because of her skill, and her dedication to Xahrina, she has taken a place as a Bodyguard/Companion/Handmaid to the Chieftess. Xahrina can certainly handle herself, but the Oisen do not take chances with their leader's safety. 

Phi took her new job as an excuse to move out of her parents' home despite being unmarried, and has her own small place near the Chieftess's. She appreciates the privacy.

Phi is quite close with her older sister, and loves spending time with her, even if they are not doing something strictly together, she just enjoys Aileana's company. She feels she can be more relaxed when her sister is around, although not as much as she does with Xahrina. As such, she threw an absolute fit when her sister vanished without a trace. When her brother in law came to her seeking Aileana, she screamed in his face and nearly stabbed him--she clearly blamed him for her sister's disappearance. The two had to be separated by neighbors to keep them from fighting physically.
