Gaetan is a man of average build, about 5’11 and he’s leaner than most men. However he keeps his body in surprisingly good shape. His hands are calloused despite being a nobleman, and he always has what almost looks like blood stains on his hands. He has curly dirty blonde hair that he keeps fairly short, but because of the curl it always looks like an unbrushed mess. He has bright blue eyes that are sometimes very eerie depending on how he looks at you. Gaetan has an awkward vibe about him constantly, and he’s nearly always fidgeting with something. As if he can’t keep his attention on something for more than three seconds.

PERSONALITY: Gaetan is...odd. That's the best word to describe him as well as eccentric. He gives people, mostly his parents, emotional whiplash a lot of the time. He changes his mind constantly depending on his mood, and sometimes he acts out in weird behaviors. Specifically if he’s entering or leaving a room. He hates social gatherings, to the extent he will go out of his way to ensure he does not have to be there, however he’s always forced into it by his parents. Many people think he hates people, or comes off as standoffish at events. Some believe he thinks they’re better than him given his parents extreme wealth, and that he can do whatever he wants. In truth, Gaetan just doesn’t know how to properly socialize with anyone outside of his immediate family. He gets severe anxiety in group events and his fight or flight instincts kick in.

Normally a very quiet man, Gaetan has instances where he can be very loud if the mood strikes, and impulsive. His parents, mostly his mother, constantly worry his impulsiveness is going to make him bolt one day and that he’ll end up killing himself, another person, or leave Tresteria all together.

Gaetan likes to be by himself unless he’s with his sister. He holds resentment towards his parents, for how they treat him. Gaetan is fully aware that he’s “weird” and hates it when people point it out, but especially his family. He likes his weird little ticks he has as he thinks they make him unique. Over the years he’s developed a mentality where he likes to see how far he can push people. Doing everything he can to push their buttons, before they lash out at him, or leave. He has a “I do not care” attitude about everything, but especially his own personal being as well. He likes to dance the thin line between life and death to see how much he can get away with taunting the grim reaper, and has become extremely reckless and an adrenaline junky.

Despite his odd behavior, Gaetan is actually very sweet. And despite his rough “I don’t care” exterior, he’s a man who actually cares maybe a little too much. He’d do quite literally anything for his sister, even his brother despite their strained relationship. His biggest thing is trust, and he only trusts himself and his sister, as she’s the only one he’s met to show him a sliver of the kindness and attention he didn’t know he needed.

He’s extremely possessive about certain belongings of his, and keeps a lot of things to himself. Prefering to just let people make their assumptions about him, rather than explain the “why” he does what he does sometimes.

HISTORY:

Gaetan was born the oldest son of Wilfred and Miryam Primm. A very wealthy noble family that ran several businesses and worked in various trades. Gaetan was a happy child, but there was something off about him. He had weird little quirks and would constantly clean his room, and everything had to be done a certain way. He craved attention, and wanted to be helpful. Despite his cheery maner, he also had his issues. He had to be glued to his nanny or governess and keep her in sight at all times whenever he went anywhere public, or he would scream, and be inconsolable. He had issues with crowds that caused him to act out, and he had a need to touch everything soft. He was quite the handful.

When his little brother and sister were born, Gaetan’s world changed. He loved his siblings with every fiber of his being, and once Wilfred and Miryam found they had a second son, Gaetan was practically forgotten. He grew to resent his parents and Gaetans behavior only worsened, and by the time he was a teenager, he began to have mood swings. You never knew if he was going to have a good day, or a bad day. He rebelled, and started to have reckless behavior all in order to get his parents attention. They spoiled his brother Raoul mercilessly, and pretty much told Gaetan he didn’t matter. They tolerated him, and spent their days trying to control and contain him given his “episodes” as his mother likes to call them. Gaetan’s sister Claudia is the only one to ever truly take the time to understand Gaetan, show him any form of kindness and give him the attention he needs.

He’s grown to accept the fact he’s weird, and that he has problems. He likes to push people to see how far he can push them before they abandon him or call him a freak. His parents have recently informed him that he has an arranged marriage with Cressida Paige. He’s never met her, and he’s been told he is to move into her home. Knowing he can’t really argue with his parents, he’ll do what he’s told. He secretly looks forward to the move as he’ll have some freedom away from his parents, however his sister Claudia is concerned given Cressida’s reputation.
