Jameson found himself doing less and less work these days, he had never expected to retire. He had never expected to begin to struggle to recall names, never expected the memories he had once held so dear begin to slip out of his grasp when he attempted to recall them, and he had never expected his limbs to ache after a clambering the rigging. But then again, he had also never expected to become a pirate but here he was. Here he was, sat in the room which served as a canteen, enjoying the first fresh fruit he had tasted in what felt like months. Though he hadn’t been on shore, that didn’t stop the older man from enjoying the literal fruits of his crewmate’s labour.
He had just finished his second apple, the juice still dripping unwiped down his chin, when he felt the familiar rocking that would suggest the anchor had been lifted and they were once again on their way. Much earlier than Jameson had expected too. He stood with a groan. A grimace curling his lips as old joints creaked and popped with the sudden movement. He was getting older, and not much wiser it would seem. It didn’t take long to reach the deck, eyes blinking furiously to adapt to the sudden brightness of the open air- just in time it seemed.
In all his years on the open oceans, Jameson had never sailed with a crew such as this. He was hardly even surprised with the scene unfolding before him as he sauntered over to the side and leaned his weight against it. The sailor finished his apple before speaking, tossing the core carelessly into the ocean. ”Honestly.” He muttered, more to himself then the group that had gathered near the two new faces. Leaving Jasper, Bones, and Kalypso to whatever that was- Jameson turned his attention to the two unfamiliar faces amongst the sea of familiar ones. ”There’ll be time for introductions and, dare I say, explanations later on.” The older man said warmly, an easy smile sitting upon his lips. ”But first let’s get you both sat down and some tea in you.”

It was hard to trust. With all she and Raif had been through in their life, how could they trust anyone? But at this moment in time, there was no other option. She helped Raif from underneath the dock and only let go of his hand so she could climb the ladder. For a moment, she stood still, looking up in the distance to make sure no one was coming back for them, and then to Raif, to make sure he was safely making his way out of the waters.
Once he was out and it appeared they were not going to be attacked. Yet. Kaia moved and climbed on board, her light brown eyes staring at Billy as if looking through his soul as he helped her climb over and onto the ship. She was silent, her gaze never leaving Billy, and when Raif was on board, she backed up to stand next to him. The man towered over her-- Billy, too. Then again, everyone did as she was a short little thing. Short... But fierce, which could easily be determined by the expression she wore on her face.
Her attention only shifted from Billy when the other man, Jasper, approached them, offering up his shirt to the red-headed woman. She half doubted the shirt was for her and she fought the urge to roll her eyes or to say anything.
Raif was staying quiet, which was probably for the best, but Kaia also didn't know what to say at the moment. They were all looking at them as if they were a threat or shouldn't be there--which maybe they shouldn't be, but she was grateful for whatever help they were willing to offer. "Thank you for your help... And I am sorry for the imposition and whatever trouble my friend and my being here may cause. We will be on our way if need be.. but are just in need of... "
She paused as the older man approached and spoke as if defending her and Raif and excusing them and whatever explanation everyone thought they deserved at this moment. Her stern and serious expression softened slightly as she looked at the man and offered him a small but grateful smile.
Tea would be lovely--especially since she was freezing at the moment from her drenched and wet clothing. "Thank you..." She spoke, nearly inaudible.

A mid-day nap was just what the man needed. It had been a quiet afternoon while the others were on land trying to gather up supplies. It wasn't his job. He would be up all night ensuring that they stayed on course and didn't crash the ship.
He had been dreaming of a lovely woman in bed with him, the rocking of the boat assisting in making it all feel too real. So when he woke, he was confused to find no one on top of him. He was a light sleeper, so the shouting was enough to wake him from his deep and blissful sleep.
He cursed out loud, "son of a bitch, what the hell?" Didn't they know he was busy in his sleep? The nerve! He got up, throwing his pants and boots on before rushing up the steps, skipping a few along the way. The cool sea air hit his bare chest as he hadn't bothered to throw his shirt back on, and he squinted from the drastic change of light and the harsh sun beating down on them.
"What's going on?" He yelled out to whoever was on deck--he couldn't exactly see too clearly at the moment. He lifted his hand to shield over his eyes and that's when he spotted the small group....and all these beautiful women with their clothes wet and clinging to their bodies. He grinned widely and let his hand drop once he was adjusted to the light, rubbing his eyes as if wondering if he were still dreaming and needed to clear his vision. But when he reopened them... There were still three ladies in front of him. The two redheads, and the short darker woman who he had never seen before. He hardly noticed the huge injured man. Eh... Just another man on board... What else was new?
He folded his arms over his bare chest, his grin never leaving his face as he stood and watched. He no longer cared about what was going on. He just enjoyed the view. Then again, old man Jameson was dismissing all of their questioning and inviting the two strangers in for tea?

Faith laughed softly at Jasper's antics--she'd known it was her he was calling to even through the apple in his mouth, and she wiggled her fingers at him in a little wave as he approached. Once he was helping Kaly, though, she looked to the newcomers, realizing they were just as drenched. She was just considering taking off her own shirt to offer to the other girl, partially from kindness and partially to watch Billy's face when he saw her topless. She didn't have any qualms about everyone on board seeing her topless, except that she wouldn't be getting anything out of it other than the amusement. She was soon interrupted by the approach of an older man she hadn't been introduced to yet, but she liked the way he thought.
"Excellent plan!" She declared. "But first things first, I think our new friends need some dry clothes." She turned to the new(er) girl with a smile. "I think my things ought to work for you, love, although we might have to roll the waist on the skirts. As for your friend..." Her eyes skimmed over the crew and landed on @jonathan . Ah yes, from the look in that one's eye, he wouldn't mind helping her out. "Jon, would you be a dear and help find some men's clothes for us? I'll take care of the ladies." She winked at him and flipped her hair, leaving him to interpret it however he wished.

Kaly gave Billy a sweet smile, raising her brow as she listened to him, giggling a little bit at how flustered and upset the man was. It wasn’t too big of a deal- at least in her eyes, and the threat of him haunting either of them earned a scoff, “You’d only haunt us to watch us change,” she teased him, offering a little playful wink to her fellow redhead who probably thought the same thing she did.
At being denied his shirt though, she rolled her eyes- it hadn’t been for her but she hoped he would spend the rest of the day uncomfortable for not giving it to her. “Fine I’ll just take off my own shirt then and use it for his shoulder to stabilize his arm and stop the bleeding,” She would tell Billy casually, her fingers already going to work the buttons- she was a woman of her word after all!
The redhead would look to the hurt man, staying close in case he fainted or stumbled, she had no idea how much blood he had lost but he didn’t look good from her view, “I’ll get you fixed, don’t worry,” she promised him, her hand gently patting his good arm. As she was trying to comfort the man though she heard a rather familiar voice that made her laugh- now things were going to get interesting for sure!
Kaly would turn and wave, “Hi Jasper,” she called to him, letting him get the full view- because let’s face it, she knew he was staring and Kaly had no issues in flustering the other gender. Then in a moments notice, Jasper was undoing his shirt for her and making her almost laugh as she would take it and then pull him in if he let her to place a little kiss on his cheek, “You’re too sweet, thank you,” she told him as she would use his shirt then, “I’m going to put your arm in a sling so you stop moving it, ok? It’ll hurt a little bit though,” she told him, switching right into her medical role. And if he allowed her, she would make a shirt-sling for him and have his arm draped against his chest- no Kalypso did not care that everyone could see her top half, it was just a body in her opinion.
Kalypso would stay close to the injured man, looking up to see Jameson and then giving the older man a kind smile at his offer to them- that was another down that didn’t care and then as they would make there way up she would see Jonathan and laugh, “I thought you were sleeping!” Kalypso called out to him, knowing the man was a napper and like to snooze but that would not save him from being teased by her as she walked with the man up onto the ship. With Faith taking care of the clothes problem, she could handle Raif, “I’ll take them down below and get my bag,” she offered out and if no one protested, she would lead their new guests below to the galley where everyone could get something hot to eat and drink. If they did protest or want to do something else, she still would leave to go get her kit but stopping for a moment,"Don't go moving your arm, miss if he does, please slap his good had," Kalypso said with a bit of a grin before heading off to get her kit.

Somehow, through all of this, he hadn’t heard the obnoxious presence of Jasper. One always knew when he was around, however, Billy (albeit his rejection) was a little preoccupied at the moment. Not that he was going to say he was still very distracted. Let him pretend like he had the upper hand for once! So, when Jasper exclaimed, before he could argue Kalypso’s comment, he actually jolted upon being startled...and that probably looked ridiculous for a rather large man to do.
Then, Billy proceeded to watch as the smaller man (in every way, mind you) removed his shirt for Kaly. The quartermaster didn’t bother to mask his annoyance or the exaggerated roll of his eyes over Jasper’s antics. There’s nothing wrong with me, he was quick to mouth back, just glaring at him in return. Did the sailor forget that Bones could easily crush him like a bug?
Why was everyone picking on him today? Also, there was something unsettling about the dark-skinned girl's eyes...and he wished she would stop staring.
Glancing over, he saw Jonathan had decided to finally wake up, and he was just rolling his eyes from the sight of him. "Oh, you too, huh?” he said, gesturing to the fact that the man also didn’t have a shirt on. With a sigh, he turned, "Someone get on the bloody helm! Where’s Juliet?” She often liked to steer the ship but he didn’t see her anywhere amid this sudden chaos. "Let’s go, get that fuckin’ front sail to half mast and that anchor up!” he announced to the crew.

What in the actual fuck was happening?
Maybe they got on the wrong ship. Suddenly, there were people arguing with each other, women flaunting their “lovely bits” that, in all honesty, weren’t doing much for him. On top of it all, the scrawny woman- oh wait, hold on, that was a man- was just escalating the problem. The tall one, who one would think was intimidating by the looks of him, was crumbling beneath it all.
Was he dreaming? Did he lose too much blood?
Vivid blues blinked tiredly when he heard a calmer voice amid it all, and they turned their attention to the older sailor, Jameson. He had a far more soothing presence about him, even if Raif wasn’t one to simply trust another by that alone. But Kaia could use some dry clothes and something warm in her belly, so he wouldn’t argue. Not that he was exactly speaking, either. No, he’d leave that to his companion who, fortunately, had a more level head on her shoulders currently. He was just trying to stay upright.
Kaia was still at his side, and he made sure to keep it that way as the one who had helped them from the water was ushering them below deck. Raif was hesitant, naturally, but what other choice did they currently have? He would be completely useless if he lost much more blood, and Rathmore’s men were still looking for them. They had to go.
So, with a low, growling sigh, he accepted Kaly’s help, nodding to acknowledge it and to offer thanks. He was too tired to try and form words.

To look at her, you probably wouldn't think she was capable of anything. She was a girl of simple beauty, clearly of higher class, but those once soft hands had begun to finally form calluses from these months handling the ropes at sea. And she loved every waking moment of it. A part of her felt guilty for leaving Daniel at their wedding reception roughly a year ago...but she needed this. She couldn't sit still, not while her heart yearned for adventure. She couldn't raise children, not while she barely felt like she had grown herself. And nor could she be a wife to a man who had been a complete and total stranger to her.
As much as Juliet had read books that made her want to fall in love and be rescued, she had swiftly realized that she wanted to do the rescuing.
Funnily enough, she was slowly ascending the steps from the lower deck, her face buried in one of these very books and she didn’t appear to have noticed the craziness that had been happening. In all honesty, it was just another day on the ship, except for the captain’s drunken ranting.
She moved with ease, barely having to watch where she was going. Juliet even managed to sidestep Jonathan as he stood there bare chested and gawking at lord knows what until she finally stopped somewhere in the middle of it all; hearing Billy shout out orders. ”Are we leaving so- oh!” The exclaim interrupted her simple question, because she finally noticed the two newcomers while Kaly, Jameson and whomever else began to lead them her way, and towards the crews quarters below. ”Oh, it seems I have missed much!” she said to herself.
