introducing..
A s p e n W y n f r i d
AGE: 28
BIRTH DATE: September 18th
MARTIAL STATUS: Single, never wed.
CHILDREN: None
NATIVE: Wynfrid clan of Aldsage
CLAN POSITON: Beta
FAMILY:
Ookami - Father - Wynfrid Alpha
Lycus Wynfrid - Brother - Wynfrid Beta
HAIR COLOR: Pale blonde
EYE COLOR: Vibrant, light blue
HEIGHT: 5'4"
WEIGHT: 120lbs, give or take
APPEARANCE: Aspen is the perfect size for anyone wishing to get into tight spaces. With a slender, well-toned frame weighing in at roughly 120lbs and standing only about 5'4", she could easily be referred to as 'fun-sized.'
Pale blonde hair is oftentimes worn in braids that are tight against her skull. This not only keeps her face free of hair but also allows her to navigate forests and engage in combat (if need be) without the worry of her hair getting caught or being used against her, especially considering it falls just to the middle of her back. When not in braids, it is free to fall in its natural waves.
Her eyes are a vibrant light blue, competing with the sky in their beauty and captivation. Soft and sultry against her pale skin, Aspen has a way of using her eyes - and overall beauty - to get her way or get herself out of less than desirable situations.
Her clothing choice ranges from leather armor - used when hunting or engaging in combat - to luxurious furs, which are mostly worn during calmer, more relaxing days around the clan's territory. Warmer months mean a little less clothing and a little more skin to show, while cooler months mean a complete cover-up.
FAMILY MEMBERS:
Father - Chief of Wynfrid
Brother
OCCUPATION: Hunter/Warrior
GRAMARYE GIFT (if any): N/A
PERSONALITY: Among the people of the clan, Aspen is one of the first to typically be in some sort of trouble. Being the risk-taker that she is, it seems that she can't quite help herself when a dangerous opportunity presents herself. However, her daring acts are almost always seen as a means of proving herself, something she feels she must do whenever she can, lest she loses the respect she's worked so hard to gain. Stubborn and fearless, there is no feat too great that she feels she cannot achieve. Even if she fails, it is certain that she will try again. And again. And again, until she finally succeeds.
Assertive and confident with a dominant streak, she always knows exactly what she wants and goes after it with a fearlessness that could easily be confused with carelessness. And truth be told, the woman simply doesn't care. Love her, hate her, wish she were dead, she could care less. If you aren't willing to stand toe-to-toe with her, she'll just as easily write you off as all talk, no action.
Being in the trade of the hunter, Aspen is a patient woman. Observant and intuitive, she certainly knows when to wait to achieve the best and most desirable results, despite the chances she may get beforehand at a clear shot, so to speak. She is calculated and precise, always searching and waiting for the best opening to sink in her teeth and claws. It would seem that her patience knows no bounds, but alas, there is always a limit to just how far her laid-back attitude will stretch.
Despite the all work, no play attitude that she seems to possess, Aspen is quite the free spirit. A good party with good company is right up her alley and her outgoing nature means she's never come across a stranger. Be warned, though, she won't extend friendship or her loyalty to just anyone. Instead, that is a grace that must be earned, and earning it can be quite the feat. Even if you never earn her friendship or loyalty, it's still best to do whatever possible to not get on her bad side as holding grudges seems to be a well-practiced talent and the wrath of her temper could compete with the wrath of a mother protecting her young.
HISTORY: Aspen has spent all of her life in the Wynfrid clan of Aldsage. Growing up the daughter of the chief and in her brother's shadow, it was all she could do to work her ass off and prove her worth to the clan, working hard to become the best hunter and tracker among her people so as to earn the respect that she felt she deserved.
It wouldn't be far-fetched to say that there had been a little sibling rivalry in her earlier years as she and her brother vied to be the best of the best. While her brother's motives are unknown, Aspen's motives had always been clear. She desired respect, not only from their people but also from her father. She wanted to prove herself, to show that even as a petite woman, she could do just as much, if not more than those seen as more capable than she. With a knack for leadership and dedication that was unrivaled by anyone else in the clan, Aspen was quick to gain everything she sought after.
Truly, her life was quite typical. She did her part to help take care of the clan and provide them with what they needed. Aside from the occasional civil strife that came so commonly with living in close proximity to other clans, there wasn't much about her life to be duly noted. That is until the Drach took it upon themselves to completely eradicate a neighboring clan. While Aspen had begged her father to send aid, despite what the cultures of their island deemed fit, his refusal and wish to remain out of it lest they meet the same fate of the unfortunate clan all but sent Aspen into a fit of rage that resulted in her storming away from her clan's territory, single-handedly attempting to aid the smaller clan herself. However, when she arrived, the damage had already been done and the Drach clan had already returned to their territory.
Upon return to the Wynfrid's territory, Aspen was quick to confront her father, telling her of the bloodshed and horror that she'd seen in Necron territory. Her father, however, seemed to only hear a single string of words, that she'd deliberately disobeyed him and went to rival territory. Her punishment was quick and severe, and she walked among her people as a scorned woman, though it never wavered her confidence in herself. One look was enough to hush the whispers that erupted as she walked past and to this day, whispers still follow her, though the level of respect she'd earned was still high enough that no one dared come to her as her equal, no one dared to approach her in a way that conveyed any level of disrespect.
Simply, life within a clan of Aldsage is as it's always been and perhaps as it'll always be. Day in and day out, life remains the same. While things are relatively as normal as they were before the eradication of the Necrons, it seems that at least one member of the Wynfrid clan is hoping for something different and grand that brings a change to not only her people, but the entire island as well..

KHAN FACTS:
+ Grey wolf.
+ 2 years old.
+ Always at Aspen's side. Can often be found sleeping at her feet/in the threshold of her room, acting as her guardian.
+ Loyal only to Aspen and her clan. Has been known to give warning growls and snap at those who he perceives as a threat/those who get too close.
+ Is closely in-tune with Aspen.
+ Weighs in at 192lbs and stands 6'5" on his hind legs.
+ Raised by Aspen since he was a wee pup. His mother had been mistaken for a different wolf that had been spotted stalking around their territory. Once she had been killed, they noticed from her undercarriage that she was a nursing mother wolf. Aspen took it upon herself to track down the den, which is where she found a lone Khan.
+ Khan is free to roam as he pleases, though it is clear that he'd prefer to remain close to the Wynfrid clan.
+ His favorite foods are fish, rabbit, and deer.
+ Can sometimes be moody and unpredictable.
+ Fearless and protective of not only Aspen, but all of the clan folk.
+ Has bright ember-colored eyes.
