PERSONALITY: Between her normally quiet nature and serious looking resting face many people seem to assume Coraline is cold or mean spirited. This couldn’t be further from the truth. She’s a very kind and caring woman, if a bit on the reserved side. With her light, carefree laugh and warm smile people seem drawn to her once they start talking to her. She’s incredibly intelligent and has a tendency to talk a persons ear off about her latest discovery or interest if they let her. She’s very motherly by nature and has a tendency to take care of everyone around her whether they like it or not.

With the right people Coraline can be very sarcastic and playful. Daemon means everything to her and is the one person to really pull her out of her shell no matter where they are. With her husband and her closest friends she’s very openly affectionate though her husbands public displays of affection can sometimes make her shy. She tends to often get lost in her own thoughts which can lead her to zoning out even in public. She’s not a very angry woman and it takes a lot to really get under her skin but once she is mad it takes some time for her to calm down. FACTS AND HISTORY ABOUT CORALINE:
-Coraline was born the second oldest child to Marquis Jacob and Rebecca Tailor during a fairly cold fall night in October. While her parents loved both of their children very much and attempted to provide as much to them as they could they were both very busy people leaving she and Leon to be raised by nannies.

-When she was thirteen she became betrothed to a man by their families arrangement. The two of them were close friends and Coraline tried to convince herself she was in love with him for years. Or that she would at least fall in love with him eventually. Still, neither of them were ready to officially marry and delayed their wedding multiple times.

-When her youngest brother was born Coraline was sixteen and took on taking care of Nicholas. The confusion of being raised between multiple nannies made her lean more towards making sure her youngest brother had the easiest at home life possible. While she was still growing and studying she would care for Nicholas despite the encouragement from her parents to let a nanny care for him.

-Coraline became a military nurse when she was seventeen and during the defense against Saelis Coraline met her now husband Daemon Belmont. She couldn't deny her immediate attraction to the soldier but the two became fast friends. When he left Aralore she thought she might never see him again but knew she couldn't continue her engagement with feelings for another man. She broke off her engagement and when Daemon returned they began their relationship immediately.

-Not long after they began courting the two married and Coraline left her life in Aralore behind to move to Tresteria with the love of her life. Unlike at her home she was treated far differently in the new land. For a while she was unhappy as she adjusted to her new way of life but was determined to make the best of things to live the life she wanted with her husband.
